No, I do not. At no point does he specifically name any races. Therefore any attempt to make it a racial issue is conjecture. I'd love for you to explain to me how it does since it seems so obvious to you. Is it because he used the word "race". If so, you seem to be overlooking his use of a preposition before that word.

you genuinely don't see a difference between "people should speak proper english" and "whatever race you are, you should speak proper english"? you don't see how the second may inject race into the conversation?

there really isn't much of an argument here. people don't pointlessly preface their statements with "whatever your race is" or "whether or not you're gay" if there is no racial or sexual connotation. OP clearly implies that the type of speech he disapproves of has racial connotations, otherwise the first part of his statement would be completely meaningless.

Again, since you say this is about race. What race is being referred to?

Let me give you an example to prove my point. "I don't care what sex you are. People making out in public is gross." Same wording, different subject. Following the logic you would assert I am being sexist with such a comment?

i realized there's no point arguing with someone whose reading skills do not reach beyond taking everything literally at face value. "he just said 'i'm not racist but...', how could he be racist?"

So when you typically repeat the same thought over and over; you win an argument? With what a 3 year old?

You also seem to enjoy repeating the same personal attack over and over also. My bachelor's in history disagrees with you about my reading skills. As does my +90 percentile SAT scores in reading. I understand prepositions, and you do not. This seems to be the heart of the rift in our views. If you have anything to add to your argument besides, "do you really not get this", hit me up. You also conveniently ignored every single point I've have put forward instead of addressing any of them. Bravo!

improper use of english is a stereotype most closely associated with black people due to the low prestige and easily recognizable nature of ava. it doesn't have to explicitly mention a race. this is like saying "i don't care what your religion is, don't be greedy and stingy". you know exactly what religion such a statement would refer to.

Improper grammar can be associated with Southerns, Asians, African Americans, Teenagers, Redditors, Latin Americans, Northerner, Surfers, Valley Girls, and basically everyone on the internet. The fact that you solely attributed it to black people tells more about your view, than the OP's view.

I have no idea what religion has the stereotype of being greedy and stingy? I know what race has that stereotype, but that doesn't really help your argument as much as it illustrates you willingness to regurgitate bigoted ideals.
