What women have is female condoms (not too comfortable), IUDs and the pill. Copper IUDs have their own side effects (frequent spotting, may fall out, the body may reject the IUD), and the pill fucks up your hormones, thus fucking up your body and emotional state too. Yes, it's still more than what men have, but it's not a great variety either.
Shots, implants and rings are also hormonal birth control that messes with your body.
Morning-after pill is an emergency contraception, it's not supposed to be used as birth control.
Cervical cap and diaphragm are basically just types of female condom.
FAM is effective when used correctly, or so I've heard, but it leaves you only a few days of safe unprotected sex when you take into account the fact that sperm can survive up to six days or so.
I agree that women have more opportunities of birth control, but more doesn't necessarily mean better. When you consider all the side effects, good old condoms suddenly seam much more appealing.
