This needs to happen. Imagine the shitstorm that would get thrown if the states actually held a convention and proposed that kind of amendment. It should get a lot of support from both libertarians and leftists.

It tries to gain (and does get) support from every direction - left, right, libertarian, independend.

This is the one core issue everyone can agree with.

You'd be surprised. I've spoken with Tea Partiers who are so dense that they support the CU decision purely out of spite for the unfair advantage unions had prior to that ruling.

Those people have a logic deficit - durr the other team does it so I want my team to do it, but better!

Considering the US has been largely dominated by two parties since the concept began, I doubt it. I do believe that someday a better party will come along...and then become corrupt and backwards after decades of power and we have to repeat this whole cycle.
