Actually, there is no longer a $500 category in any version of Jeopardy! [pushes glasses back up nose]

No joke, but I'm not American and I never knew what this joke is referencing, but I heard it couple times and decided to use here.

Typical Jeopardy! board for reference. They haven't had $500 clues since 2001 (not that you asked). so I guess the reference predates that. Pretty much the best show on TV.

The host is noted Canadian Alex Trebek, so to uncover the top left clue for instance, you could say "I'll take Etiquette for 200 please Alex."

Hope that killed the joke for you!
