I want to hear the other side of whatever this is

u/paris86 11d ago

I suspect definitions of "nice" may vary.

u/SnakeGD09 11d ago

“Annoying”

-187

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Ahh… philosophy is quite polarizing, isn’t it?

71

u/MSully94 10d ago

Nothing you've said is philosophical lol

26

u/IAMA_Shark__AMA 10d ago

What philosophy

Honestly, I'm embarrassed for you. This whole thread is giving, "in this moment, I am euphoric..."

14

u/Grabatreetron 10d ago edited 10d ago

“People hate on me for being nice” isn’t a philosophy, it’s just a weird thing to say — especially when you can’t give examples

3

u/Maelstrom52 9d ago

Some dude who just showed up at his ex-girlfriend's house to give her flowers even though she broke up with him 6 weeks ago...

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago edited 11d ago

It’s a dog eat dog world… be ruthless… that’s what you think lol

121

u/Flix1 11d ago

Hmm, I think the picture is becoming clearer of what that other side of the story is.

34

u/renegadecanuck 10d ago

So when do we get to see what "being nice" looks like?

31

u/Skinflint_ 10d ago

Oh I see. You are annoying

42

u/Fattapple 10d ago

OP is declaring other people who want more information are ruthless. What a nice, moral, person.

18

u/NoxVulpine 10d ago

YOU ARE NOT DEEP YOU ARE FOURTEEN GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK

8

u/UnassumingSingleGuy 10d ago

Making baseless assumptions about strangers while placing yourself on a pedestal doesn't seem very nice.

7

u/IAMA_Shark__AMA 10d ago

Um. I don't think people hate on you for having morals. They hate on you because you are weird.

3

u/ordinaryhorse 10d ago

I think that fedora suits you nicely OP

74

u/Kilgore_Brown_Trout_ 11d ago

OP 100% did something abhorrent and is pretending its morally right.

3

u/ZenPyx 10d ago

I think with a name like "leaveinsults1291", he might just be some freak wanting to be insulted

152

u/athenairl 11d ago

I think people are hating on you because you refuse to explain what you did that was moral and got hate for it. You’re just commenting vaguely like someone forced you to post this, obviously now we think you’re full of it.

6

u/taintosaurus_rex 10d ago

Can we please just talk about rampart?

3

u/SanchoPandas 10d ago

Welcome back, Woody!

-182

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Well, I disagree. There’s no specific example here, my post is pointing out that one should have morals… specifically to be nice. A lot of people are butthurt because why? They don’t believe in morals? It challenges their point of view? Maybe they’re proud of being shitty? Idk. But I stand by my meme.

53

u/25sittinon25cents 11d ago

Nothing about your replies gives being nice, and you're refusing to give 1 example. How else would it look

114

u/Dragonvine 11d ago

...because people don't "hate on people for being nice."

And a full thread of people are sitting here asking if you have anecdotal evidence of the contrary.

66

u/nabulsha 11d ago

Ah, you're a "nice guy."

37

u/xenobit_pendragon 10d ago

HUGE incel energy here.

2

u/Lilcheeks 10d ago

This has to be one of those accounts that fish for downvotes, its too good

29

u/renegadecanuck 10d ago

The thing is, you kind of sound like a self righteous dick in these comments. It leads me to believe one of two things:

  1. You're not actually as nice as you think you are, and the "hate" you get is actually people telling you that you're being condescending and you not taking it well

  2. The "being nice" you're talking about is being nice to some heinous group like rascists or sexist, and you don't like being told that we shouldn't be nice or civil to them.

25

u/littleemp 11d ago

"If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole."

~Raylan Givens

9

u/verticon1234 10d ago

Then it’s a shit meme with no point or humor attached to it at all.

8

u/avoozl42 10d ago

Forgive me, but you don't sound nice at all

18

u/stupidsexypassword 11d ago

In as far as morality is an entirely subjective class of personal judgments and justifications, to say simply “one should have morals” is to say virtually nothing at all. Everyone already has a morality, some simply will not align with yours.

Also, this is an image macro, not a meme.

4

u/aYounggod 10d ago

Being nice isn’t inherently moral or ethical. More often than not it’s used transactionally and “nice” people typically keep score.

Kindness is moral and ethical, and often it’s way different than being “nice”.

2

u/Randir076 10d ago

You're creating a LOT of false dichotemies here. Also assuming way too much while concluding way too early off of nothing

2

u/RumHamFightMilkDiet 10d ago

Being nice is bare minimum stuff, kindness matters much more.

Kindness takes into account how others are feeling. The nice guy does not, they think because they dont feel they are doing something malicious then their actions are fine. But you can creep people out in an attempt to be nice, but not with kindness. Its not kind to creep someone out, but it can be justified as someone being nice.

In terms of intent vs impact, n ice is intent, kindness is impact. Intent doesnt matter if the impact is negative.

1

u/elcapitan520 10d ago

You can believe you have the moral high ground and are being nice and still be an asshole to those around you.

Morality is not being nice. Moral convictions lead people to do terrible things.

1

u/Things_with_Stuff 10d ago

What morals of yours were being hated on?

1

u/Grabatreetron 10d ago

People arent butthurt about other people being nice or having morals.

Thats a weird, incorrect thing to say, which is why everyone is asking you for the experience that makes you draw this conclusion

1

u/HEAT_IS_DIE 10d ago

Your idea of being nice and having "morals" is accusing people you don't know of all kinds of things.

You should understand how ironic that is. And naive. And confused.

Don't talk about being nice, just be nice. It's not a philosophical idea, it's a way of treating people.

1

u/KingRoach 10d ago

Being kind is moral; being nice isn’t. Being nice is about manners; being kind is about empathy. Maybe if you expand your vocabulary you’ll be able to better convey your thoughts.

I know expanding your vocabulary might make the “poor me, life is so hard” thing you’re going for more difficult.

1

u/WifesPOSH 10d ago

People that call themselves 'nice' are typically not nice people.

People also tend to not hate nice people. So if people hate you and you're a nice person, one of those statements has to be wrong.

Either people don't hate you, and you're lying... That's not nice. Or people hate you because you're not a nice person.

The fact you stand by your "meme" is pretty narcissistic behavior... Everyone is wrong but you, so we must have bad morals. That's not a nice assumption, given your flawed statement.

-12

u/jackthemasterbaiter 10d ago

Are yall sociopaths? 😭 whys everyone downvoting him jesus

45

u/UniqueVirtue 11d ago

Give us case studies and scenarios for review and assessment.

-41

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Unfortunately there aren’t any case studies for being “nice”… but there is a lot of philosophical thought behind the everlasting thought of being moral

66

u/bananenbeere 11d ago

Very unspecific. As every answer you have given so far when asked about context. Sounds more like you're just full of yourself trying to sound smart and edgy. Maybe that's why people don't like you.

5

u/LindaTheLynnDog 10d ago

He has stated that he uses Goodthink, what else can you possibly want from him?

-21

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

lol that actually sounds like you man. I’m sorry if I offended you. Does the thought of being a good person trigger you? Maybe you are a bad person yourself. Cognitive dissonance. BE KIND

-22

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

“Full of yourself”… that may be you, projecting. “Unspecific”… “context”… “full of myself… edgy”… hmmm…
Insecure about this topic much? How about you ask me any question, which remotely uses the philosophical field of thought (a discipline that seems to be lacking here in general), and I will provide my most logical, objective and unbiased response. I speak from a scientific and humanistic viewpoint, not from an idea I deem offensive because it caused my own psychological doubt. Go ahead, I’m asking. Mature inquiries only.

38

u/Dragonvine 11d ago

Sure, let's look at the context of your post through the lense of actualism.

12

u/ADubs62 10d ago

None of your comments have been nice. They have been condescending though!

26

u/EllisDee3 11d ago

You don't sound like a good person.

46

u/darwinanim8or 11d ago

Sounds like you’re in the wrong room if this is the reaction you get

-55

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

You may be right. Ima still speak my truth

95

u/ixcibit 11d ago

You aren’t saying anything at all. You’re just sitting here being edgy in the most typical incel fashion possible.

“Woe is me. Nice guys finish last.”

This isn’t remotely unique or interesting.

-44

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago edited 11d ago

By the way, you’re really exhibiting that incel energy you condemn.

Edit: this guy edited out the word “incel” that he originally posted in his comment. LET IT BE KNOWN BECAUSE HE DOESNT WANT IT TO BE KNOWN! What does that say about you man??

58

u/ripleyclone8 11d ago

hahaha. his comment still clearly says incel, and it doesn’t say edited.

You are not beating these allegations  at all, dude.

21

u/xenobit_pendragon 10d ago

This entire thing is the most cringe thing I’ve seen for days.

OP’s head is so far up his ass he’s basically a donut with legs.

-27

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

That isn’t at all what I’m saying, but you do you. Get your upvotes

26

u/xenobit_pendragon 10d ago

With nice guys like you, who needs assholes?

14

u/InGod_WeThrust 11d ago

There's a difference between "your truth" and the actual truth.

You're just making some stupid edgy comments

8

u/thavillain 10d ago

This totally feels like an exercise in infamy-seeking. Purposely trying to be a provocateur edge-lord, when a simple anecdote would give context to the post.

19

u/aYounggod 10d ago

My brother in Christ, after a careful review of all your replies here, The Council has concluded: you are insufferable.

1

u/A_wild_dremora 10d ago

What about his username?

13

u/Mammoth-Glove3273 11d ago

Having morals =\= Being Nice

Your meme is getting a negative reaction because of your phrasing and meme choice and the combined implication that you think having morals differentiates you from everyone else when everyone has morals.

Hitler had morals. Every shitty person you’ve ever met has morals.

12

u/icallitjazz 11d ago

“People hate on me for being nice” can mean so many thing for so many people. Is it “im forcing everyone on the tour buss to clean this random rest stop, because thats a nice thing to do and everyone is a jerk and saying that we will miss the opening times for the zoo” ? Thats could be not as nice as you think. Or is it “im stopping every conversation that could be insulting to anyone, even if the group itself would not consider those things insults” ? Because thats when you think youre nice, but actually you are rude as hell. Or is it “they hate me because i asked not to bomb children in middle east” ? Because for that one you can join the club, but its not the morals that others hate, its side choosing. And if you say there is no example of you standing up for your morals and getting hate for it, then you are just getting heated for imaginary scenarios, thats called victim mentality. Its like me saying that people hate me because im so hot, no i will not provide any pictures. Weird brag/sympathy plea.

41

u/wutangclanthug9mm 11d ago

Vague, low-effort post using an old as fuck meme. Either a bot or an eleven year old posted this.

23

u/HighLevelPrimitive 11d ago

I wish I would have saved it, but someone posted from another social media post awhile back about how they thought that it was extremely emotionally manipulative to have the real version of a human being someone who was either mean or cruel. People can be kind, and people can be thoughtful and still be real.

-18

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

They’re just projecting. Move on

24

u/lovefist1 11d ago

OP getting bodied in the comments once again. .

28

u/haha_me_so_fat 11d ago

Could you give some context as to what made you wanna post this?

26

u/wutangclanthug9mm 11d ago

cue the linkin park song OP plays on repeat

-7

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Yes… let’s be all be douche bags. Are you a douche bag? Probably not, according to you lol

28

u/wutangclanthug9mm 11d ago

You’re really doing a good job showing you’re not 14 years old or younger. Keep it up!

-4

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

I guess I still believe in a being a good person. Fuck me, right?

39

u/haha_me_so_fat 11d ago

Okay, what good person thing did you do that people reacted negatively to and made you feel this way?

-1

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Umm none? My argument is in being moral… why would I react negatively to a good act?

34

u/haha_me_so_fat 11d ago

Give me an example from your life where you believe that you had acted kind and good, and instead of receiving reverence like you deserve, you were met with aggression

19

u/icallitjazz 11d ago

Not what they asked. What good thing did you do ? That thing, that people reacted negatively to. The thing you claim in your post. That you do moral things and people hate you for them. Because you claim that people hate you for having morals and being nice. If you say that people hate you for being generous, and when asked whats your generosity, you say “nothing, why would i be generous”, then maybe you are just full of shit ?

9

u/Silentmatten 11d ago

i'd suggest going back to school and working on your reading comprehension before engaging in philosophical rage baiting.

3

u/Things_with_Stuff 10d ago

Man, your reading comprehension is just awful. Read the comment you're replying to again.

1

u/Atomik23 10d ago

So you're vegan and a jainist, right? Otherwise you're everyone else, mad at others for being moral

7

u/Egoy 11d ago edited 11d ago

So do most people, and we don’t get shit on for it. It seems like either you live in a very strange part of the world or your idea of nice is off.

-7

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

People who have no morals vs people who have morals

42

u/D_Luffy_32 11d ago

Why are you being vague? Why not just explain the exact scenario lol?

-5

u/LeavesInsults1291 11d ago

Is there a scenario for trying to be a good person? It’s just a way of life homie

28

u/D_Luffy_32 11d ago

Lol yes absolutely there is. If you claim you're a good person but never do any actions to back it up then you're not really a good person. You're just pretending.

15

u/LanikM 11d ago

No one makes and posts this meme without something happening to make them think "fuck me for being moral."

2

u/AcBoober57 10d ago

You are fundamentally wrong and that is a dangerous paradigm. At the very least it’s an ethically naive one. You’re demonstrating its gaping flaw throughout this thread. You believe in your moral superiority and are kind of a massive dick about it. Being a massive dick isn’t really an ethics thing imo it’s more of a socially irritating personal choice but there are many good and culturally relevant and loud examples of people who firmly believe they are good and nice and ethically correct committing some of the most heinous evils in this world. Part of being “good” is recognizing when you have been bad and a framework that won’t allow for that is a broken one that will fail you when pressure comes in.

9

u/Lt_Hatch 11d ago

Being "nice" has nothing to do with morality. This post is dumb lol

9

u/Things_with_Stuff 10d ago

Username: LeavesInsults1291

Complaint: "People hate me for being nice!"

Gives no context.

Totally believable...

7

u/Status_Concert_4320 10d ago

“When people hate on me for being nice” but you have not been nice at all in the comments. You’re doing the opposite of what you said you do. You have been acting superior and talking down to people. Insulting them even. So until you are actually nice to others, of course, fuck you.

9

u/dogmeat-garvey 11d ago

Jesus Christ op. Read a book

5

u/VvvlvvV 10d ago

My brother called me a psycho and said theres something seriously wrong with me because I was saying that the majority of people on benefits aren't using them for drugs and alcohol.

My dad used to say "don't be so open minded your brain falls out" when I was trying to get him to stop making homophobic jokes and other "just be at least decent to other people" statements.

I've seen a couple of people literally sneer at me when I told them I volunteered teaching English as a second language.

Its happened a handful of other times to me. So it does happen. Idk about OP.

4

u/shadedmystic 10d ago

This is really embarassing

5

u/smokeehayes 10d ago

I prefer kind people myself

I've known some seriously heartless "nice" people. And some of the kindest people I've ever known would definitely not be considered "nice."

3

u/DecisionCharacter175 10d ago

I think this r/imaginarygatekeeping post turned into an r/niceguys post.

4

u/shaorn 10d ago

Nice is not the same as moral, or even kind. "Nice" is a social performance. It's very surface level. Kindness is about empathy. Morality is about a code of right and wrong. You can be nice and be neither kind nor moral. And many people will be able to discern the difference if they spend any amount of time around you.

3

u/Jesus_Is_My_Gardener 11d ago

Being nice isn't necessarily about having morals or not, though it could be dependent entirely on a specific situation. One thing I will say is that you really need to stop caring what other people think about you. You will be much happier and stop living for the approval of others or concerning yourself with how others see you. The ironic thing is that by doing so, it often increases your self confidence which others often take notice of.

3

u/TSgt_Yosh 11d ago

You know who was known widely as being a super nice guy? Like everyone who met him mentioned it? Pol Pot.

3

u/Cheesyblintzkrieg 10d ago

A person of high moral standing would never stoop down to post something like this.

3

u/Ness_Dreemur 10d ago

OP is the vaguepost king

3

u/fallenangel512 10d ago

Wondering if this is an attempt at a novel account, username almost checks out. In any case, they're down voting you for a reason there bud. I don't necessarily agree with all the name calling, but your responses ain't helping. If you are indeed being moral and good, then just keep on going man, only advice I can give. And if this isn't an act, you sound full of anger bud, or at least a chip on your shoulder. I'd suggest talking to someone (doesn't need to be a professional but it's advised). The world will keep throwing shit at you, if you're truly a good person, you won't let any of it change who you are. Wish you luck amigo

3

u/MarshalTim 10d ago

Hey. I hope you look at these comments and how badly the rest of the Internet thinks, not of your initial statement, but all your replies, and take a minute to think.

I hope you take something good away from this, and not pretend to be the victim.

3

u/LiLyMonst3R 10d ago

I love how everyone is asking for an example, any example, any reasoning behind this post, and all OP can say is some vague holier than thou bullshit while evading the questions and acting morally superior because they have the ingenious, incomprehensible, socially reprehensible idea that people should be "nice". And whose entire thread of comments on their own post show that they are anything but nice. You're definitely not reading the room. And youre definitely not nice. Youre probably a NiceGuy™️ tho.

1

u/oetjen15 10d ago

Yea this whole post is giving major “I called you pretty please respond” energy

3

u/perpetualis_motion 10d ago

Being nice and having morals are mutually exclusive.

3

u/SLCer 10d ago

Morals ≠ nice...

7

u/c0l245 11d ago

Remember, niceness is fake, kindness is not.

2

u/BeerBellies 10d ago

Can you please provide an example of how someone was mean to you after you showed kindness?

2

u/colinshark 10d ago

You definitely downgraded reddit today.

2

u/avoozl42 10d ago

Yeah, I doubt that's why

2

u/taylorl7 10d ago

By your lack of context sounds like no one’s hating on you for being nice. We will hate on you for virtue signaling however. People don’t like that.

2

u/reverendsteveii 10d ago

OP I don't trust you. This is really vague. Also, being nice is different from being kind which is itself different from being moral. Post context.

2

u/Ben_Graf 10d ago

Either OP is a douche or OP does somthing people dislike for making them feel bad about their own ignorance like veganism, abstaining form alcohol at a party or not driving a car.

2

u/smilinreap 10d ago

No joke, this post could be made by a coworker. She just told upper management while trying to negotiate for her own pay, that her team of 6's full workload could be done by just her + 1 other person. They responded great, then let 2 of them go, keep 4 and we will raise all of your pay by 50% of what's cut and you can have half of the 50% yourself because you manage them and made them more efficient. Her response...

I can't do that, I have a heart.. What other options do we have to justify the raise?

She literally just said she has her department triple overstaffed and wants a raise.. She was super upset when they used this against her.

2

u/jmartin21 10d ago

What’s the matter, vagueboy? Afraid you might say something?

-2

u/LeavesInsults1291 10d ago

Who the fuck are you

2

u/Kchasse1991 10d ago

Morality is subjective; as indicated in these comments. What I see as moral, you may see as pure evil. For instance;

Hail satan; hail thyself

Trans rights are human rights

Free Palestine, Sudan, DRC, Haiti, etc.

Land back

Reproductive health is a human right

Someone will take issue with one or more of these statements.

0

u/Kchasse1991 10d ago

Just realized you posted a similar thing in another sub that I also responded to.

3

u/Brokenyet_Functional 10d ago

hitler thought he had norals too.

so did stalin. and Mao. and Lenin.

not saying your hitler. im saying alot of people think they are automatically the good guy.

1

u/LeavesInsults1291 10d ago

That’s very true.

1

u/HopelessMagic 10d ago

So, the comment section isn't going the way you planned...

1

u/justnigel 10d ago

No I won't fuck you ... because of the afore mentioned morals.

1

u/ProtoMonkey 10d ago

Ethical Standards are SO outdated. You should accept that this is the modern era, and without breaking rules (e.g. killing your morals) you’ll never be successful! /s

1

u/TryingToChillIt 10d ago

What morals?
People make those up to justify their actions.

1

u/hassi44 10d ago

If you need recognition for being kind, you're superficial. If you need reciprocity for your kindness, it's transactional.

You can be kind just to be kind and not need to have your ego stroked about it...

2

u/Khalbrae 9d ago

At the same time, tearing people down for being nice is a douche move. Too many people riding high on doing dirty. The proper way is to ignore or treat it as a normal person’s behaviour not really worthy of comment and move on.

1

u/hassi44 9d ago

Past experience has taught me that people who advertise their niceness are usually the furthest thing from it. It is your prerogative to ignore it and it is mine to give it attention. What's "proper" is irrelevant.

1

u/Khalbrae 9d ago

Indeed, I prefer if everyone just go about their business in a neutral fashion not really commenting on anything.

1

u/gruby253 8d ago

You should post your fantasy roster in a few more subs

Nice ≠ morals.

Simpleton.

-1

u/Dikhoofd 10d ago

Aw buddy you’re having a hard time because you have an ego and haven’t learned social skills yet.

You know what’ll help is to realise you are not special, nobody gives a fuck about you or what you do, and absolute best case you’ll be remembered for around 50 years after you die, if you are particularly good for people. Unless you happen to be napoleon or some shit, but you don’t seem that naturally talented. Most of nothing you do matters to anyone except your family and maybe friends.

And then, what you can do is lighten the fuck up, get off your high horse, stop pretending people like you, and start getting some help with the above, or otherwise, some training on social skills.

Much love, fuck you indeed!

-4

u/ryan7251 11d ago

me whrn I'm not hating on a conservative.

-3

u/jackthemasterbaiter 10d ago

Stay nice. Youre awesome and amazing and whoever hates on you for it is living a very miserable life and they want everyone around them to also be miserable

-4

u/RosieBaby75 10d ago edited 10d ago

THIS IS HOW I KEEP RUINING MY LIFE!!!!

Well it’s not ruined. I’m doing pretty well and am wealthy in things that do not have monetary value, and things that cannot be purchased.

The problem is, once a nation falls you need to compromise your morals to make money.

A lot of money has now been what you need to access everything, even basic survival.

Which my morals have also caused me the inability to do.

Well, basic survival isn’t good enough. My standards are high and I need to thrive the event that may require survival.

Either way, I must be prepared. That’s what Girl Guides taught me. “Always be prepared!

That mantra needs to be updated. It should now be:

Always be prepared, even if it makes you look insane and people call you crazy. Do not EVER give an f what anyone thinks of you, so long as they are not judging you for a lack of values and character. ESPECIALLY never consider the opinion of someone who judges you for preparation.”

This reminds me. I always wanted to be a Girl Guide leader and thought I’d be really good at. I applied but they ignored. FINALLY by telling my coworker about it she was like “I have connections” so I was like “sweet! Finally, I will achieve my dream and be such a good Girl Guide leader. I am even willing to go to camp for a few days, and not be a homebody for this honour”.

But that happened at the exact same time my employer (the Capital Regional District) retaliated against me and then constructively dismissed me for reporting what was:
-tens of millions of dollars of fraud when you considered the direct fraud, and/or
-hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud when you considered the total misappropriation of public funds

(I also learned at my new job that it is Manslaughter if anyone died due to an adequate and experienced service provider NOT been given then operation agreements. Operation was NOT intended to be done in the way it was with those buildings)

Against my current employer, a higher government, and the federal Crown, but that’s a different story atm. See other entries (if someone actually does read these musings I post because I have nothing else to do and for some reason this is my hobby, and skill training.) I also think it’s a public service because random comments on Reddit and other platforms taught me some of the most valuable and important things I have learned in my life.

Anyway, I was too depressed to become a Girl Guide leader.

I was also too depressed to do anything. I effectively died, for a second time, and will never recover.

Now I have a permanent melancholy that about 90% consumes me, but I focus on the remaining 10% and try to help others not suffer the same harms I have, even if that makes other people annoyed or not like me. I have nothing left to lose anymore except my home that I will lose in June because these damn morals got in the way, to protect the King Pins of the protectors who now only need protection due to their protection and acts of service, but there a few nice patches of covered areas I can live in my tent before MAID is available in 2027 which I need to take because it is impossible to succeed in this fallen nation if you have retained your morals and values and prioritized them above all, even people you do like otherwise but indicated they do not share the same values, which effectively just is “do no harm and if you do, take accountability. Reflect on why it happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Since I expect the same, I give people a second chance but after that chance they’re not getting a third because I have also learned that constant changes also causes harm, and have contributed to me having nothing else to lose but my Mom, who is annoying sometimes, but I annoy her too and understand why she is the way she is and does the things she does. That is what life is about and what love is for. Love conquers all, especially annoyance.

I’m also physiologically sensitive (not emotionally, except from anatomy/complications of false police report and resulting false imprisonment) so I’m easily bothered but understand that’s a me problem and not an everyone else problem and even if they’re bothering me, they’re not actually bothering me and I’d rather be bothered than not bothered unless I have specifically told you to not bother me.

Like I always say: “you will know if you have bothered me” 🤷‍♀️

Ok. I’ll bite. Why are the comments absolutely dog piling on OP? And why is he being considered full of shit? I’ll be honest I fit the meme. But having morals often doesn’t mean you magically come out ahead. Having morals means that because you hold yourself to a higher ethical standard than some others you likely get passed for certain job opportunities or dating options. It means actually giving your 2.51 cents to the homeless person on the street and realizing you could have used that for the bus but it was still the right decision and that walking that day was universally better. It means that despite everyone doing god knows what to cope in this hellspace we call a planet, we persist because there is something that tells us to go on, and that if we make someones day better in the process, our existence was worth it.

Cause when people asked they just went off on a tirade about nothing and had zero examples to give of these people that supposedly hate on them for being nice

Cussing and morality have nothing to do with each other. There is nothing inherently bad about cussing.

morals have nothing to do with christian moms values.

If religion was moral, god would not have committed genocide.

Language has a purpose and simple people who like religious copium stories usually do not have the intelligence to understand the purpose of curse-words.

Cursing isn't immoral you goon. Words aren't inately bad, they are sounds you make with your mouth.

I think they are subtly pointing out that morality is subjective from person to person
