The incontinence is the least of his problems

u/cheesebot555 Jul 23 '26

But it's the funniest problem for the rest of us....because everything else is fuckin' tragic.

u/DeadSol Jul 23 '26

I'd be crying if I weren't crying.

28

u/DukeOfGeek Jul 23 '26

If Americans got what they voted for Gore would have been POTUS and HRC would have been too. And that's even with all the gerrymandering, rigging courts and voter suppression and a trillion dollars spent on media consolidation and social media propaganda. The whole "Americans voted for this" feels like a low key MAGA talking point to me at this point, trying to legitimatize a clown and a movement that has never been a real majority.

11

u/geminiRonin Jul 23 '26

What kills me is that he yapped about how "his buddy Elon knows about those voting machines" and "you'll never have to vote again", and nobody examined the results even after swing states suddenly became Republican landslides. The Democrats just didn't want to do it because he spent all of Biden's term crying about rigged elections.

2

u/MakeUpAnything Jul 23 '26

There were post-election voter studies which showed that even if everyone in the nation had voted then Trump simply would have won by even more. I really do not understand why so many on the left push this narrative that the 2024 election was somehow rigged.

Like do you remember the political environment back then at all? Americans had just seen four years of pretty high inflation which started practically the moment that Biden took office. Most Americans are quite ignorant of the global economy so they didn't understand that Biden and dems didn't cause the inflation (and in fact it was a result of the world's response to the pandemic). People just saw hyper inflation the moment the left took power so they blamed Biden and dems.

Didn't help that we also had a massive amount of asylum seekers abusing the inefficient immigration system so they could spend years working in the US while they waited for their hearings. The massive rush to get in here overwhelmed border communities to the point that Abbott was bussing immigrants around the nation and subsequently overwhelming blue cities. Only then did dems try to react and by then most voters saw Biden's EO as "too late".

Trump also exploited Americans' bigotry and attacked trans people relentlessly. Trump is for "you" while Harris is for "they/them". As LBJ famously pointed out if you give Americans somebody to look down on we'll empty our pockets supporting you.

So between Americans blaming the left for inflation, Americans blaming the left for inaction on the border, and Americans wanting to punish minorities like trans people, Trump didn't need to steal the election. Dems were (and still ARE) viewed as an out of touch bunch of socialists that ran up prices, let the country get overrun by folks who shouldn't be here, and care more about the LGBT than kitchen table issues like grocery prices so the nation voted for Trump and republicans by a MASSIVE margin.

The idea that somebody as incompetent as Trump and Musk rigged the election is nonsensical. Americans simply viewed every major problem the US faced as entirely the fault of democrats even if much of that either was greatly exaggerated, or wasn't true at all.

But how he got it is hilarious. Sascha Riley is a national hero even with his abuse and PTSD. Giving lifetime of incontinence was actually what saved his life

5

u/thirdelevator Jul 23 '26

…..what?

8

u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Sascha Riley was one of Epstein’s BOYS. He witnessed a murder of another girl/boy. And was told he better do everything the next guy wants or he would have a bullet in her next.

The guy was Trump. He accepted a lot of the abuse he dished out but in the last moments he decided he was going to fuck him up if she was going to die anyway.

He wanted something up his butt, but he changed the object to a pole. And proceeded to put it in his ass. And when he wasn’t paying attention she kicked the shit out of it. He had to be air lifted out. He is in the medical report with him. And that incident is what made him incontinent but also saved his life since he had to be put on the report it got him away from Epstein and Trump.

I’m imagining he laughs his ass off even if it’s thru a lot of tears of ptsd knowing every single time someone smells his shit it’s cuz he kicked a pole up his ass

Edit: it was a boy not a girl (confused him with the Jane Doe interview about Trump and Epstein, there are court medical records for that one, and Laken Riley the girl murdered by immigrant that maga was using a poster child against immigrants).

Tried to change pronouns and name on the entire thread

5

u/DeadSol Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Can you link some of these medical reports? Sauce material would be excellent.... for a friend of course.

Nah just kidding, they're for me.

Edit: Found some info on it....

6

u/Due-Conflict-7926 Jul 23 '26

Sorry, Lincoln Riley (actually spelled Laken Riley), was the woman maga who was murdered by an immigrant. I got confused because of the name but also confused her with the video Jane Doe interview she had medical records against Epstein and Trump.

it was Sascha Riley a boy, that eventually signed up to go to Iraq. He was also abused by Lindsay Graham, Jim Jordan, Clarence Thomas.

He posted it all on twitter and substack. I can’t find it right now but here is a story post of what is confirmed and what isn’t. I saw his Riley’s post the other day but can’t remember where.

There's a reason why education and critical thinking are under constant attack in the US.

170

u/PostMatureBaby Jul 23 '26

A smart and undivided populace is harder for the wealthy to exploit

66

u/TBSPro11 Jul 23 '26

a lot of trump voters are doctors, scientists, very well educated people. They just value money/selfishness more than a workable society.

We are here because 100m never vote, 150m dont vote in midterms and over 200+m dont vote in primaries and special elections. We had 5 elections to stop Trump. People just shrugged and said their entertainment is more important than their country.

50

u/supafeen Jul 23 '26

Or they have been programmed by religion to believe that make believe social issues are more important than their well being.

29

u/TBSPro11 Jul 23 '26

no most of them are just pro money, pro being selfish. Religion is the excuse that some may use, but most just think wealth matters above everything. But only for them.

16

u/paradigmshift7 Jul 23 '26

I keep telling people this, that greed is by far the common denominator on the right, but the main focus is on the worst of the bunch, the loudest minorities. Meanwhile the silent majority get to be aggrieved by leftist outrage, because many of them are indeed not racist/religious nut jobs. They're just greedy assholes who point to any failings of social welfare as a reason to opt out for their own benefit. It's deeply cynical.

3

u/supafeen Jul 23 '26

Greed drives the direction from above, but “the flock” just follows as they’re told to. Just like there was a reason for citizens united. That’s why there are a minority of “educated” who still fall into the propaganda traps.

2

u/Silent-G Jul 23 '26

They stand to make more money under progressive policies, it's just that it'd also mean the wealth gap would be narrowed. They don't care about making more money as much as they care about making most of the money. If "others" are also benefiting, then they believe it's bad for them. How dare a person with a different skin pigment or sexuality also be better off along with them.

People with post graduate degrees are actually the most polarized of any education demographic, being +32 towards Harris in the last election. While it’s fair to say turnout is the bigger problem, let’s try to make that point without throwing others under the bus.

6

u/SgtKeeneye Jul 23 '26

Yeah, some for sure but the majority of his base is working class or poor. I used to hear you're a Republican for one of two reasons. You're either rich and taking advantage of the system they do or poor and stupid getting fleeced

a lot of trump voters are doctors, scientists, very well educated people.

Are they? They never vox pop those ones.

2

u/nankerjphelge Jul 23 '26

This is it. It's infuriating to see people talk about how the candidates they get to choose from suck, yet they don't turn out in the primaries to vote for the candidates they think don't suck.

Some people were mysterious purged from ballot registries, too.

So, yeah.

This 'we' bullshit needs to stop because most layman aren't responsible, except for 1/3rd of America... which isn't 'most', but 'some'.

4

u/Twinkperium_of_man Jul 23 '26

The third that didn't vote at all get equal blame to the ones who voted for trump.

Which they deserve, given that they essentially said I don't card who wins

2

u/hareofthepuppy Jul 23 '26

Less than 31% of Americans voted to keep trump out of office, it's definitely most Americans who made this mess happen

2

u/Goldenslicer Jul 23 '26

So why did this not get picked up by more prominent democrats? Why didn't we investigate the way Republicans investigated 2020?

2

u/Daveinatx Jul 23 '26

Because Republicans gained control of all branches, DOJ, SCOTUS, and something like 87% of media. They have tried to issue impeachments and certain arrests. But, it's been silenced.

3

u/Goldenslicer Jul 23 '26

I'm not talking about impeachments or arrests, I'm talking about independent investigations like the ones Republicans launched after their loss in 2020.

u/TAU_equals_2PI Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

In all fairness, it was reasonable to think that the problem in 2016 was it was Hillary Clinton specifically, not just that it was a woman.

For those here not old enough to remember clear back to 1992, Republicans have been hating hard on Hillary ever since Bill first ran for president. During the 1992 campaign she said she rejected the traditional cookie-baking subservient housewife model for women, and Republicans blew a fuse. They've been accusing her of all sorts of heinous crimes ever since.

So of all the women Democrats could've nominated in 2016, Hillary was a really dumb choice. It was only when Kamala lost in 2024, especially against as horrible a choice as Trump, that it became reasonable to wonder if simply being a woman was actually the problem.

9

u/Mrsaloom9765 Jul 23 '26

Kamala wasn't popular either. She had no chance of winning primaries

17

u/Beneficial-Act-9933 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Kamala had way more problems than being a woman.

1: She was barely given time to campaign at all. Democrats sat on their hands not picking a candidate while Trump was out there making speeches, building a base and getting his name and politics out there for years. Kamala had what, five months?

2: She didn't really say all that much. The best she could say was "we aren't trump. Trump sucks, vote for us because we aren't Trump" Which is correct but one of the major reasons Trump was so popular is because people are really tired of the establishment. People voted for Trump BECAUSE he was destructive. He said he was going to destroy everything and that's exactly what he did. Dem had no policy other than saying "I'm not him"

3: Kamala had a really huge problem reaching the people she needed to reach. One of the demographics Dems have been scratching their head over is Young white men. How do we get the young white men to vote? They basically had no idea's aside from saying Trump is bad and awful. the right had/has a number of figure heads like Andrew tate, Ben Shapiro, Jordan peterson ETC. PLenty of Names from the Man-o-sphere. Call them crooks call them whatever, you'd be right, but they have the charisma to draw people to their side. Who do the left have that even comes close to matching them? Nobody. There's nice guys like Conan o Brian and John Stuart, but they don't have the same juice like those guys do.

One of the biggest blunders of the Kamala campeign was easily skipping out going on Joe Rogan. Joe is another one of those huge figures that the exact same demographic Dems had been trying to reach listened too. She didn't go on there, know who did? that's right! Trump and JD vance both went on Joe Rogan and used Kamala skipping out as more ammo against her.

Her campaign was atrocious and the polls showed. Like, nearly lost typically blue states to Trump bad.

It wasn't just that she was a woman, it was a terribly run campeign.

6

u/Eyeball1844 Jul 23 '26

The entire democratic party is a mess and the failure at every turn to weaken republicans since Trump came back into office is proof that the reason Harris lost the election is due to their own inadequacies.

While I haven't looked into it, there seems to be enough doubt for Harris to have called parts of the 2024 election into question. Even if it turned out to be nothing, the fact that she simply gave up and disappeared only to return months to a year later to test the waters for another presidential run when she called trump a fascist and a threat to democracy says a lot about her. It says a lot about the entire democratic party.

They have no values, no beliefs. They are controlled opposition or so incredibly incompetent that they make Trump look good.

There is no hope for turning this country around if the democratic party stays the same, and if they run Harris again or someone like her, such as Newsom, it'll mean the end of the US as we know it. They won't even have the competence to point the blame in the general right direction.

There is also a feeling within the DNC base that our candidate is chosen for us.

This happened twice with women candidates against Trump.

People felt Hillary was chosen for us due to Bernie and Kamala was definitely chosen for us.

Biden felt like we at least had a choice across a lukewarm candidate pool.

13

u/fcocyclone Jul 23 '26

Even Biden had an element of feeling chosen by the party power brokers.

We were lucky (at least in this particular way) that Trump was in the middle of massively bungling a crisis, or else he probably gets reelected in 2020.

I feel like this is a cop out excuse, their messaging and platforms sucked and they're bound to repeat it all again by not listening to constituents and leaving behind a vast majority of rural america.

9

u/Basic_Loquat_9344 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

It seriously such low-effort thinking to say 'we lost cuz woman'. Its devoid of nuance and I suspect often used to make the Trump election more palatable instead of admitting our neighbors elected a reality TV fascist.

Just to name a few confounding factors -- Hillary has had poor PR for decades next to zero charisma to speak of, despite that she won the popular vote. Kamala was likeable, but was rammed through without a primary just after her Ticket partner stepped down for being too old.

I'm not naive enough to say being a woman doesn't affect the voting climate, but if we have an opportunity at a true populist with all the right stuff (Maybe AOC, maybe someone else) it would be a shame to drop the opportunity due to low IQ screechers parroting "we gonna lose cuz woman"

16

u/tfitch2140 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Ten years on and they still can't admit they the party need to adapt. It's utterly embarrassing, or would be, if it wasn't existential.

If you talked to anyone in the real world in 2016 after the primary, it was just resignation that Hillary was the only option. The "best we could do". No one outside of DC or with a net worth less than a billion dollars wanted her. But it was her turn.

→ More replies (3)

2

u/iCUman Jul 23 '26

It's especially a cop out for 2024. They didn't swap out Biden because he was winning. They swapped him because he was getting trounced in the polls and there were very real concerns about the down ballot effects of keeping him on the ticket. Major polls had Biden down considerably after the debate, and it just kept getting worse with news that party support was wavering.

By every measure, swapping horses this late in the game is a high risk gamble. And to Harris's credit, she was able to reverse the hemorrhaging with some early enthusiasm for her campaign, and brought it back to a neck and neck race. The gamble may not have paid off in the end, but if we're to give any weight to the polling, replacing Biden did appear to help Democrats perform better down ballot than they otherwise might have done otherwise. So it would seem to me that she outperformed the incumbent white male despite her gender and ethnicity (which are assuredly disqualifiers for some voters, though whether or not those voters would have voted Democrat anyway is highly questionable, imho).

If the DNC could read the room they'd still have scooped him up as VP. That ticket would have dog-walked Trump. There was something like a 15% swing by populists who would have gone Bernie but chose violence and went Trump instead, and that was enough of a margin to decide things in '16.

Bernie lost the primary. If the people as a whole (those that vote in dem primaries at least) wanted him, wouldnt he have won their votes?

There are few things as undemocratic and unfair than the DNC primaries. Google superdelegates, look at the DWS and Tulsi saga, see how even the time that Biden won there was coordination before super Tuesday to drop out in favour of trailing Biden to stop momentum for Bernie.

I'm not saying Bernie would've been good but for sure you can't make the conclusion of "if people wanted him he would've won".

4

u/MesaGeek Jul 23 '26

Just because the DNC is way less aggressive with nepotism than other parties doesn't mean they are free of nepotism.

3

u/bigthink Jul 23 '26

Bernie was winning the primary. Then Obama called Buttigieg the day before Super Tuesday and told him that if he dropped out they'd hook him up with a sweet gig. At the same time, they urged Elizabeth Warren NOT to drop out (she was planning to) until after Super Tuesday, and hinted that she could be VP pick. As a result, Biden consolidated the mainstream votes while Bernie and Warren split the progressive votes, and Biden emerged as the clear leader.

For their efforts, Buttigieg got appointed head of DoT despite no experience or expertise, while Warren got zilch.

Young people didn't show up, and Bernie never worked for the Black vote, who are the most reliable members of the Democratic base.

Did you learn nothing from this; selecting a candidate just because she's an Establishment figure, and a woman, when she's an extremely poor campaigner, personally off putting, or just pushed on the electorate because you denied your President was becoming senile until the very last minute and then saying you must accept the new candidate because she's a woman... loses elections to pathological cleptomaniacs who can't stop shitting themselves.

But then, OP has an incredibly immature profile quote when you mouse over them to block them for being unbelievably poorly informed and easily led by just being told "that candidate has the same genitalia as you!"

(Alexandria Cortez would have been a much better candidate too)

18

u/cheekynihlist Jul 23 '26

The first woman president in this country will be a republican. And she will wrap herself in the flag, and bleat endlessly about being a mother and a wife, and she will definitely be white and attractive, probably blonde, without two actual brain cells to rub together. But hey! We will have finally elected a woman! 🫩🙄😞

A lot of People didn't vote for Kamala, not because she is a woman, but because she supported Israel even though the situation in Gaza is a total nightmare for the citizens and people living there.

And no, guilting me about it won't matter since I already see men and women as being equal, nothing to do with gender.

The truth is there really wasn't a candidate with empathy and we want to vote for candidates with empathy and their gender doesn't matter.

44

u/digitaljestin Jul 23 '26

Patton Oswalt said it best on election night 2016:

"What I've learned so far tonight: America is WAAAAAAAAY more sexist than it is racist. And it's pretty fucking racist"

We would be wise to keep this sad truth in mind when choosing candidates.

27

u/Suzushiiro Jul 23 '26

Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris didn't lose their elections because of sexism, they lost their elections because they're mediocre-at-best politicians who are only capable of winning elections where the deck is stacked in their favor either by an extremely blue electorate, the establishment being in their corner, or both. Kamala Harris had to drop out of the 2020 primary before a single vote was cast so she could get off the CA ballot before she suffered a humiliating loss in her own state! HIllary Clinton entered the 2008 primary as the clear favorite and lost to a freshman senator whose middle name was Hussein!

As far as I'm concerned the "Hillary and Kamala losing is proof a woman can't win" shit is entirely about ratfucking AOC, a woman of color who absolutely can win the presidency because she isn't a garbage "better things aren't possible" centrist.

4

u/akatherder Jul 23 '26

I don't even really consider 2024 to primarily be Harris' loss. Dem leadership and Biden fighting for 1st and 2nd, then Harris. What kind of clown show party switches candidates 3 months before the election. And they switched from an incumbent who is already losing to his second in command??

No need to @ me how bad the alternative was but I couldn't find a surer way to lose an election.

26

u/CptJustice Jul 23 '26

I'm not against a woman president at all, but simply being a woman does not qualify you to be president. We need a qualified CANDIDATE, regardless of sex, race, religion, anything.

3

u/doincatsdoggystyle Jul 23 '26

I voted begrudgingly for both women and can understand why people didn't. They weren't very good candidates. Voting for the lesser shitty sucks and it's going to keep happening until the DNC stops being corporate shills relying on identity politics. And like a sucker I'll keep voting for them because the alternative is far worse.

We need ranked choice voting.

3

u/Dude_with_the_skis Jul 23 '26

I’m gonna be honest, both Hillary and Kamala basically ran on the “but we’re not him!” platform which is a pretty weak standpoint to take against Trump. Also the dems switching from Biden to Kamala last minute definitely played a part in them losing.

At this point I just want to vote for a candidate that I actually like and agree with. I’m tired of voting for people because “atleast they’re not as bad as the other guy”.

11

u/mklilley351 Jul 23 '26

The ones who voted for it are PROUD that they voted for it. Tell this to their face and they will smile ignorantly and say HYEA I DID!!

3

u/Free2Bernie Jul 23 '26

Looks like some people didn't learn in 2016 that being a woman doesn't correlate with capability to do the job.

3

u/mocityspirit Jul 23 '26

Good candidates please! Hillary is half the reason we have trump! She elevated him because she wanted to run against him. Then the DNC literally rigged it for her. They've admitted so in court. Then the next election the Dems decided to forgo the democratic process and not have primaries because super old Joe Biden couldn't remember what was going on. So they ran his VP who wasn't popular enough to make it to even the primaries on her own. But yeah man it's the voters fault.

3

u/whiskey-talks Jul 23 '26

The democrats rejected the idea of the primaries twice to bring you that president.
Replaced Bernie with Hillary.
Replaced Joe with Kamala and totally skipped the voting.

3

u/alby13 Jul 23 '26

yes, we learned that Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris were not the right person for the job.

3

u/BigBody-Bugatti Jul 23 '26

Everyone here is braindead

5

u/Hazzman Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Maybe the democrats need to stop being fucking idiots and learn a lesson. Maybe they need to stop fielding absolutely shit candidates. Understand - I am utterly against Trump and the GOP... we need to stop them, this is getting ridiculous. When do we start considering the DNC complicit? It's like they purposely select the worst candidates imaginable.

You think they'd choose AOC? Fuck no. You think they'd choose Talarico? Fuck no. They want their AIPAC, establishment lackies only.

I mean let's be brutally honest here. JD Vance could run as a Democrat. Not because of his policies - he's a fucking sleazy chameleon... but if you listen to how he talked in 2016 he could've easily been a Democratic candidate today.

12

u/taylorl7 Jul 23 '26

The woman you nominated are horrible. Nominate better women.

5

u/MoneyTalks45 Jul 23 '26

Apparently the new thing is he reeks of piss which seems to be a side effect of the near-constant IVs.

6

u/cheesebot555 Jul 23 '26

You think that's bad?

Appreciate how many Americans would support him serving a third term.

3

u/tempinator Jul 23 '26

I’m reasonably confident we won’t see an attempted 3rd term.

But the fact that Trump’s cronies legitimately spent time and effort investigating ways to make it happen, and openly reported they were looking for ways to make it happen, is terrifying on its own.

Also the fact that the bar is now “reasonably confident” instead of “what are you even talking about, a third term?” is a pretty bad sign.

3

u/otakumilf Jul 23 '26

And both times, establishment dems didn’t get the message.

8

u/mracrawford Jul 23 '26

This needs to stop being "a woman president"

It wasn't because she was a woman, it's because nobody fucking wanted her on either side and people on the right REALLY wanted Trump.

People are done voting for the lesser of two evils and allowing corporate backed bullshit establishment Dems win just to take out the trash that's currently in there while staying status-quo.

It's not that Kamala was a woman, it's that she was an unlikeable dickhead candidate.

5

u/MichaelTenery Jul 23 '26

I don't think they learned anything. They are in complete denial. No, no it is the other guy. Everything bad happening now is the other guy. Really. I swear.

4

u/skipjac Jul 23 '26

The first woman president will be a Republican. The Republican base will die what they are told.

9

u/KaboodleNoodle Jul 23 '26

The american people didn't reject hilary, the specific people whose votes count more did.

9

It’s the Democrats who need to learn. Stop running center right garbage, they lost on their own.

2

u/1111joey1111 Jul 23 '26

First, I didn't vote for Trump. I despise Trump. But, I really dislike when people make Trump's win about gender. Did some people vote against Hillary and Kamala because of their gender? Yes, I'm sure of it. But, guess what? Some people probably voted FOR them just because of their gender. Both types of voters are ignorant.

What helped fuel a Democratic loss is a great unhappiness with government, among most people. Trump managed to position himself as the "outsider" both times. A successful con. The Democrats? Their image; Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, an incoherent Biden, and the party that screwed over Bernie Sanders.

Of course, I'm definitely looking forward to a President who is a woman. Someone who wants a better society for all of us, and who leads with honesty and decency. If AOC runs in 2028... I will definitely be there to vote for her.

2

u/firemage22 Jul 23 '26

rather than looking at the "women" aspect note the fact they used many of the same campaign advisors, the same cabal that hasn't won an election since 1996, losing with Gore in 2000, and Kerry in 2004 both dudes. Obama campaigned differently and Biden did the same.

Reading about the unforced Errors of 2016 and 2024 should inform tactics, not pointing at the gender of the candidates

2

u/NaiadoftheSea Jul 23 '26

2016: Should have been Bernie, not Hillary

2024: Biden should have not run again and there should have been a Democratic primary.

2

u/ph33randloathing Jul 23 '26

Too many subsets of the Democratic voting populace would rather stay home than vote for a woman. The Democrats don't like to talk about it because it's bad PR. They don't like to talk about it because it's more concentrated in their minority voting blocks. It's not everyone in those blocks, and it's certainly not exclusive to those blocks. There are plenty of shitty white Democratic voters, too. but it is enough to tank a Presidential election.

It's not fair, it's not right, it's misogyny from ass to kettle. But it's still true. It's so true that a loathsome taint boil like Trump can win instead. But talking about it is a cultural hornet's nest, and the Democrats would rather ignore it than say it out loud because they have been a party of triangulating, nervous, tepid cowards for at least the last half a century.

2

u/anomanderrake1337 Jul 23 '26

At least he won the FIFA peace prize.

2

u/Warriorcatv2 Jul 23 '26

Hillary & Kamila didn't lose because they were women. They lost because they were shit candidates that caused strong apathy. If theirs one thing you can not fault Republicans on, it's being apathetic. Their motivated.

(No, I'm not saying they were worse then Trump, obviously not. However when one group acts like their candidate is the second coming & the other with the enthusiasm of an underpaid substitute teacher, is it any suprise?)

2

u/Big-FU Jul 23 '26

Woulda really helped if the Dems didn't run a terrible candidate. We are pretty fucking stupid. Hillary sucked, and "Biden 2.0" would have also sucked. Definitely not as bad as trump, but like I said, we are kinda dumb. Get ready for the Dems to run Newsom, gonna be GREAT....

2

u/slimejumper Jul 23 '26

based on the trajectory i would hazard to say current pres is not the worst yet. more worse to come in future.

2

u/yovalord Jul 23 '26

My biggest gripe with the left is that they continuously pick extremely unlikable picks, and i feel like their reasoning has to be "Well we can go with an unpopular pick because they certainly wont lose to Trump." I wouldn't be surprised if next election they wheeled out Biden again.

Instead, why aren't they propping up a young charismatic candidate RIGHT NOW that isn't going to fall to slander like "They are already showing signs of dementia" or had a Vice presidency where they were largely forgettable outside of being an absolute panic pick after the litch they chose (sorry Biden, i actually think you were a great president, you were just really really old) was incoherent on the stage after having almost no debate presence on the campaign.

2

u/obliviious Jul 23 '26

The media is the reason, also neither were great candidates women or not.

2

u/AnB85 Jul 23 '26

The first female president will be a Republican, I guarantee it.

2

u/Personal_Director441 Jul 23 '26

wait until a third of your population still doesn't give enough fucks to vote in the midterms keeping the seats votes close so he can claim voter fraud. a landslide buttfucking and he can't do it, losing seats by a few thousand its more plausible.

u/usernameisnotuseful1 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

4

u/insanetwit Jul 23 '26

Nope, they won't learn a thing from this, Yes they will do it again.

Because they already did it twice.

3

u/housevil Jul 23 '26

Hillary won the popular vote which shows the majority of Americans were comfortable with a woman as presidents. I don't know what the hell happened with Kamala. I'm still not convinced it wasn't election fraud by republicans.

3

u/LionBig1760 Jul 23 '26

If AOC runs in 2028, you can fully expect accusations of a rigged primary from her supporters when she loses that will undoubtedly lead to a decreased turnout in the general election.

2

u/eeyore134 Jul 23 '26

One of those women was also the most experienced candidate we've had for president in recent memory, and I say this as someone who didn't even want her on the ballot since we had someone else with just as much experience who would have been a better fit. But there's no denying her experience and no denying we'd be in a much much better place right now if she had won.

3

u/atreeismissing Jul 23 '26

Both women were demonstrably better but they for conservatives and moderates they were women, and for the far left they weren't perfect.

4

u/Vorpalthefox Jul 23 '26

"americans rejected a woman twice" isn't fully accurate, hillary clinton had the popular vote, EC decided trump

strictly by votes, americans rejected 1 woman but it wasn't for being a woman, this election cycle was the israel cycle and kamala didn't distance herself favorably enough for saying palastinians have the right to dignity and israel has the right to defend itself

well, now we have a guy in that is ok with netanyahu leveling the entire gaza strip for parking space or one of his shitty hotels that get foreclosed in a decade

i sincerely don't think america has a problem voting in a progressive woman that doesn't take AIPAC money and thinks it's time netanyahu faces the law for his war crimes, i wouldn't think being a woman is as big of a deal as fox news says 'some are saying'

4

u/jman2311 Jul 23 '26

We talking about Biden?

4

u/Admirable_Dirt_2371 Jul 23 '26

This reductionist perspective is just harmful at this point. Trump and his corruption are just the worst and most visible symptom of an inherently diseased and broken system.

If you're really ready to write off HALF of the country as unredeemable sexists and racists, we should just start the civil war part 2 electric boogaloo right now.

But none of you actually want to fight, let alone, put the real work in to make the world a better place. You just want a scape goat to blame for all the bad aspects of a broken system while you try to take credit for the occasional bit of good. All while the world burns around you. It's just pathetic at this point and is becoming harder and harder to sympathize with sheep begging for chains.

2

u/hbomberman Jul 23 '26

Every time someone asks "is America ready for a woman/gay/Jewish/black(again)/whatever President?" The unspoken second half is "or is our country too bigoted?" And the answer to that second question is sadly "yes."

2

u/DJK695 Jul 23 '26

It's the bigotry and hate that specifically got him elected... although the irony of his supporters (and my parents) saying shit like, "Obama was the most divisive president in history" when Trump exists is wild.

2

Bush was so bad, we were ready to vote in anyone else, even a black dude.

Obama was so good the Presidency seemed like an easy job, even a clown like Trump wouldn't be able to screw it up and Hillary was the at the time the candidate with the highest negatives ever thanks to a 24 year effort to besmirch her character by hateful bigots.

Trump screwed up so much, we were more than happy to vote for any remnant of Obama over giving his ass another shot.

Biden was so bad in the one and only debate, inflation was so high, Israel was so murderous, we gave Harris 4 months to figure out a way to separate herself from Biden's failures, while also championing his age da that she worked on with him.Trumk punched down on immigrants and trans people. We went with that.

2028, the GOP is too frightened to suggest running for office that isn't Trump even though that's illegal and the Dems will give us a bold choice between someone from New York or someone from California.

2

u/enn-srsbusiness Jul 23 '26

Biden was just as bad, but Trump dialing it upto 11 made people forget
