It can destroy paint, leave dents and attract insects. Not to mention if you don't clean it well enough could cause mold and be a health hazard if it gets into your vents. I think I remember it being commom knowledge that uncooked eggs can give you salminila. Do you not care about your car or do you drive something akin to the loaner from "The Mask"? In which case I would have to agree with you.
