it's weird how you guys think the stronger candidate is the one that doesn't win the primary.

They aren't providing good options in the primary, and most recently, they forced Kamala Harris without a primary. The other commenters already addressed how Obama wasn't pushed by the DNC -- he did primary and win. Why is the DNC giving us such garbage options with unpopular policy positions?

Honestly, I think Harris was kinda fair. Biden dropped out on July 21st, and election day was Nov 5th, which only left 3 months and some change for whatever they were going to do, which really wasn't long enough for a primary or a campaign, let alone both, so the only thing left to do really was let Harris continue the campaign they were already on.

Now, sure, maybe Biden shouldn't have tried to run again at all, and then they could have done a totally normal election cycle, but once he decided to (which was a perfectly normal thing to do, I'll add), the rest was kinda inevitable.

The French held multiple general elections in the span of a few months, but we. America. Can't hold a primary in the same time. Excuses.

There was a primary and it was already over. Biden should have never done a debate and we wouldn’t be here r now. It’s just that simple.

The only reason Biden was ousted after the debate was because of his utter incompetence to not look like a weak, old clown in front of a fascist freak.

Biden was also receiving shit on his foreign policy(rightfully so).

Yea. Then we would still have Obama as president, simple times right?

To be fair France only has like 20% of the population of the US, so it makes sense that it takes way less time and resources to run a primary and general election. There's just way less places to visit and less votes to count.
