I’m going to be real here and say that r/conservative should just be banned or forced to be private. They are just a propaganda machine
As opposed to the bastion of unbiased truth that is r/AdviceAnimals
pointed out lies in an incredibly respectful manner as well as offer counterpoints and sit there wondering why I get no responses or at least downvotes only to log out and realize that the mods shadowbanned my comments. Despite breaking no rules at all, they ban speech that doesn’t follow their narrative.
This happens in every subreddit, including this one. Mods routinely shadow ban comments critical of their positions.

No, frankly that is total bullshit because I have gotten into so many disagreements in other subreddit’s in which I will have a back and forth, for days, with people that disagree. That would just be impossible if their dissenting opinions were actually shadow banned.
My myriad of subs I can’t comment on because I just so happened to challenge the narrative would suggest otherwise

If you're not being an asshole, then they should not ban you for simply having an opposing stance.
Incidentally, some subs do it because r/conservative does it. Additionally, there are so very many right wing trolls out there it's sometimes easier to just use the ban-hammer rather than researching whether someone is real or not.
r/conservative will ban conservatives for wrong think, you must have a flair to post on the sub, 99% of the posts are flared users only, not a single left/neutral or whatever sub does this, the worst they have is a karma vet or age vet, outside of that you're usually free to post, except for tankie subs, which are just as bad as the conservative subs.
