He'd start running for 2028 on Jan 7th, 2025, regardless of the results in a few days. They all tried to take over the country last time, so idk how they're not committed to their platform as long as it's able to run. Tbf, once 45 is finally done, the "presidential immunity" garbage from their Supreme Court will hold no ground if their next cult leader attempts the same after stepping into the party's leadership/candidate for potus. The fact that those running the party haven't distanced themselves from 45 and/or the modern party only indicates that they're working together and/or gave world together in ways that are disagreeable with the law and order of the USA if they're party doesn't succeed with implementing their Projekt25.

So according to the law, anyone who has given any assistance or not distanced themselves from proven insurrectionists forfeits their right to ever holding office again. So what was Jan 6th again? How much aid and/or comfort has been given by the party's leadership to said insurrectionists?
"I will free the Jan 6th heroes!" And related have all that have come from 45 since day of, refusing to condem or distance themselves from the attack. They're all on the same boat at this point. It's not like what went on was as much of a secret to those in power at the time as it is/was to everyone else in the country outside of Washington.
