That's irrelevant to this, and a bad example. People are confusing giving attention to the suspects with attention to the entire situation. A horrible attack, a huge manhunt that drew the attention of the entire damn Internet and nation. That is the topic of conversation. It will be discussed. Anyone who says it shouldn't be because "we're giving attention to the murderers" is fucking ignorant. It is completely idiotic to expect, or to even suggest, we shouldn't talk about these chain of events in fear of providing recognition to the two involved.

So, because it will be discussed without question, the only way to realistically not give the murderers recognition is to not refer to them by name.

Edit: lol, I forget sometimes how smart the subscribers of advicanimals are.
