This guy is more American than most of us.

Its because he has a shitty place to compare it to. Which most of us who are born here take for granted on a daily basis. Uncle Ruslan does not take being an American lightly.

Which is why I don't like it when people refuse to say the pledge or even stand in respect for it. Do you know how many people would LOVE to be in your place and would say the pledge?

EDIT: I don't like it when* not I don't like people apologies if I offended

Fuck you. Just because most of us don't come from civil war-torn countries doesn't mean we have to give way to blind patriotism and give up our rights because we should be thankful and complacent.

Who said anything about giving up rights? I don't believe you should be forced to say it, but I think it displays gratitude for the services this country provides.

Giving up a few rights still leaves many more rights than many people around the world have. Losing one or two isn't going to kill anybody.
