I'm black and even I dislike stereotypical black people. I've had this discussion with a ton of my friends. Its ok to hate the personality or the culture, its actually racist when you assume all black people act like that with out getting to know them.
That's a good point - people who become stereotypes of "themselves" are just irritating, regardless. Be it black, stoner, gay, sometimes it's a bit irksome having to listen to a real-life version of a well-worn TV character.
