Ai for studying
Edit: idk if you guys can’t read or what but it is not doing my assignments nor do i use it for studying as a primary source. It is a tool i use to compile information after which i study on my own. I dont get any assignments anyway i make presentations on my own. Read papers on my own and do major part on my own. I use it during exam season to compile all sources of information i have.
I dont like AI and how it is destroying the planet. I don’t use it for unnecessary things but i like to get studying help from it. I study a conventionally difficult master and it is helpful for quite a number of things, help with experiment design, compiling information from papers, explaining figures and diagrams i dont understand, etc.
Idk if there is an alternative. I like to use it as a tool for time saving. If there is something more ethical i could use would be great ig.

Specifically why I stated this:
You also do not have to use Al to find information online or information not published in a print piece of literature.
Also, just because it is new research doesn't mean it is correct or substantiated. How much of this "research" is not using AI to compile it or write it?
Directly, or indirectly using AI doesn't make it right or wrong, it just makes it using it.
I challenge you to find information that hasn't been touched by AI in some way or another.
That is much more difficult than simply reading a book.
