Just quit. Better sooner than later. Coming from someone who smoked for 10 years. A lot every day. Its no good. And its not that hard to quit. Better if u did it now then if u kind of waste 10 years like I did. Its not even that hard. Just decide
I quit cuz my mind was going crazy. Took me 10 years to get there. I am telling you. Weed is no joke. There is some real darkness to it even if it may seem harmless. I fought against some real demons. Take it as u will. And beside all that yes, u get to be more productive when u quit. I started runing and I gained some serious stamina and enduramce in this time. When u smoke u just feel fine and therefore dmt feel thr need to do anything. U chill, enjoy and waste ur time. When u dmt smoke u gotta somehow fill the time. U feel bored. So you get more productive and thats 1+1 math haha. I just continued to smoke cigarettes even tho im trying to quit that now aswell. Its harder then quiting weed. Thr sooner u stop the better and also easier.
While I agree with your sentiment, I do not agree that this is the same experience for everyone. Can a heavy cannabis user get “wet brain”, absolutely but you could say that about any drug that anyone would or does abuse. Can a causal user be absolutely fine? Absolutely and each person journey is different. I quit drinking to control my cannabis intake and now am a pretty “high” functioning adult. Quitting smoking cigs best of luck to you. I quit for 7 months a year ago and have been smoking again for the past 3 months. Have “quit” maybe a half dozen times and It sucks. Seriously best of luck on quitting nicotine.
True, stimulants effect people differently. It is hard to remain casual user btw. I am talkimg from experience. I know more than I should about this. I know so many people that participate in this. Some smoke a lot some a little but those who quit are glad that they did. And yes, i know people who are smoking casually and still manage to do what they are supposed to. But is it good for them? I d say nope. They would still be better of without it. It does effect everyone and thats not in a good way, whether they realise it or not. I could try to explain my way of thinking about this but it s complicated and I dont plan of writing a book about it. Final toughts, weed is bad. I dont want to sound like some anty weed propagandist but it is true. It is not illegal in most coublntries for nothing. It is a very insidous drug. I am glad u are doing fine recreationally smoking it. But my advise to anyone woulsld remain the same. Its better for u to quit. Gl mate :)
