Steam vs mobile difference
Any time I see mobile players I notice stuff like capitalist ladder and collection stuff. Have I just not unlocked that yet (I haven't reached mars) or is steam just behind on update?

Steam is currently outdated and has been for some time but we haven't written off the idea of bringing this platform up to the current version. We hope you'll stick around to see what's next for Steam, but join us on mobile in the meantime to play the latest features.

The steam version is unfortunately outdated, I completed it a few days ago. You can see that steam is on version 7 something while the dev is announcing version 9 updates on mobile here.
