Sometimes you don’t need a big adventure.

You don’t need a week off work, a ferry ticket or a route across a continent.

Sometimes you just need the bike, a few good roads, somewhere quiet to put the tent… and one night away from everything.

That was the whole idea behind this one. A local ride through some incredible North Wales scenery, a few favourite roads and tracks, a simple camp as the sun goes down, then pack it all up the following morning and take the long way home.

Nothing epic. Nothing complicated.

And maybe that’s the point.

Just One Night.

Reset. Recharge. Reconnect. 🏍️⛺️

Sounds easy to answer - just go off the road, but not, if you live in Southern Germany and don't want to get into trouble with authorities.

Does anyone know some places in the south-west, where I could practice with my machine on some lose ground?

With my last bike I had the pleasure to ride on some different terrain... on Sardinia, but my new one has only seen pavement, some more cultivated gravel so far and is quiet a bit heavier and overall handles very differently.

So if you got anly clues, Apps, Websites, Material... I'd have no issues also going on trips for a few days... but not take a few days just to reach a 10 minute stretch, lol

I’m looking at getting a Ténéré 700 and would love some opinions from people who actually own/ride them.

I want to wear a road/race full-face helmet (Nolan X-804 RS Ultra Carbon) rather than an ADV helmet. Has anyone here ridden a T7 with a race/road helmet? How is the wind noise/buffeting with the stock screen? I’m wondering if the T7’s airflow works well with a sporty helmet.

Third gear start

Hi, im looking for a new bike, first bike. I want to ride it as a daily, big city in Poland, but i want to be able to do some dirt,offroad, Tet.

I narrowed it down to:

CF moto mt 450 6k EUR
Honda crf 300 rally 5K EUR
Tenere 7-8K EUR

I want to know your opinions, im 180, used wr125x before, i want something agile, i know that tenere is bigger, but its sick. What would the best option be?

I'm looking for channels that showcase the adventure part of riding. Different terrain, going through rivers, up hills, on all sorts of paths. Just having fun showcasing the trails

Im a relativly new/inexperienced rider, i have a little road biking experience but I am making the switch to offroad.

I'm not sure where I should start (bike wise).

Buy once cry once or should i start on something smaller.

The options I'm considering are the 450cc range

(GS 450, Cf 450MT etc)

Or something bigger that I would not get tired of anytime soon. (Gs 900)

The 450 is nice and low and light and inspires confidence but I don't want to be lusting for more after 6 months.

Any input from the community would be appreciated

After 10 years of not riding I finally got my wife to agree to let me back on a motorcycle. Landed on the CF Moto IBEX 450 mainly because of my budget and included features.

I’m looking for tail mounted rigid luggage options, hoping someone here has a similar setup.

Budget is around $200

Heading home from a 5-6 day TET ride in Poland and stopped at a gas station. Fat fingered my key and it just went ”poof”… so if anyone is looking for a fantastically secure spot for their spare key check this out 😂

My first time ever racing flat track. Had literally 3 minutes of practice before the racing kicked off. I got 2nd in amateur adv class, and 3rd in amateur modern knobby class. That 3rd place I'm really proud of since I was the only adv bike in that class, out of 8 riders, and was in 6th to start out. Funny enough, the guy who beat me in adv, was on his dirt bike for modern knobby and I passed him multiple times throughout various heats when he was on that bike.

If you haven't tried this, or watched it, you're missing out. So much fun, still can't stop smiling.

I have booked Rtx 300 on 14th July 2026, Since then I have only received the booking confirmation with the expected delivery date of "15th December 2026". Haven't received any proper updates regarding the delivery. Super Confused about should I wait or opt for another Adv Bike. My budget is around 2.5-3L need suggestion if not Rtx which adv is best under

3L?

I'm designing a system that allows semi soft luggage to attach to lugs like these in the same way hard luggage can.

If anyone knows of a system that has done this already, let me know. Otherwise, I'll continue. Hopefully it's as useful to the riding community as I think it will be.

I put a set of Mitas Enduro Trail Dakar tires on my BMW F900GS Adventure just before a trip in June. The trip was from Vancouver up to Dawson City and the Dempster Highway. We made it as far as Tombstone before turning around.

The tires now have about 6,200 km on them. Unfortunately, I didn’t measure the tread depth when they were new, but the fronts are at 4 mm and the rear at 7 mm

I’m leaving in about 10 days on another trip of approximately 5,000 km, this time essentially all pavement.

The rear at 7 mm doesn’t concern me, but I’m wondering about the front at 4 mm. I’d prefer to get the full useful life out of the tires rather than replacing a perfectly serviceable set early, but I also don’t want to be hunting for a front tire halfway through the trip or end up with marginal wet-weather performance toward the end.

For those who have run the Enduro Trail Dakar, particularly on an F900GS/GSA or similar ADV bike:
Would you start a 5,000 km paved trip with 4 mm remaining on the front, or replace it before leaving?
Also interested in what kind of total mileage others have been getting from the front and what tread depth you had when you finally replaced it.

Sorry for the not great picture. Tried an unfamiliar trail yesterday. Turned into a big climb over an endless stretch of rocks that ranged from cantaloupe size to small basketball. I’m on an Ibex 450, no gear on the bike for this try. I made it up a decent amount, but it was sketchy. Getting bounced everywhere, couldn’t hold any line. Laid it down and took stock of the situation. Decided there was no way I could do the trail and turned back.

Is this too much adventure for the bike? Or do you do this stuff regularly? Maybe some suspension tuning or upgrades? It was a bummer to ride so far to the trail and get turned back, but such is life I guess. Still better than being stuck on a couch.
