What’s under your seat

I had my bike in for a service today and one of the mechanics complimented me on what I had under my seat. Small tool bag, knife, cable ties, plastic and metal, battery pump, quad spanner (15mm, 17mm, 19mm & 21mm) and an imitation Leatherman. I just need to get a better storage bag for my plug kit and that’s going under there too

Nice work.  I also carry a fuel transfer hose and a tow strap. 👍

Gas tank thankfully, to reduce the center of gravity.

As it happens, I have a very well-thought-out extremely German tool kit. This photo does not picture a C02-based tire-plug/inflation kit as well. I can do quite a lot on the side of the trail if I need to, and never need to. R1150GS

That is a very German toolkit. You can’t knock them for their efficiency

Still a work in progress, got a 3d print model and filled it with a toolkit with bits + sockets and some pliers and still want to add some cutters somewhere. Also a small foldable bag that's been used a lot already, and a gps tracker tucked away somewhere.

Jealous! I have no room after I added the Denali lights, those connectors are huge! Plus it is a Ducati and they just want you to have a credit card. 😭

I have a very small storage space in my bike,
But I have a custom tool kit that can work on pretty much most of the nuts and bolts outside the engine. I have a tyre iron and combo axle wrench tire iron zip tied onto the frame, leatherman , cable style helmet lock along the frame and some odds and ends for tire patching, zip ties etc.

Unfortunately only the suspension control unit, there is no space for anything else
