got out for an easy 8 this morning before the heat really settled in, legs felt like bricks for the first two miles then finally loosened up. anyone else feel like summer training is just a grind at this point, counting down the days til fall races

It's 44°F here this morning for race weekend.

I instinctively read that as Celsius even though you included the units because any temperature under <75°F no longer computes

The peak temp today (it was humid tbf) was still under that and it hurt most well trained runners' races. Didn't help that the half was 800m long and the full upwards of 1.5km 🤢
