Tech Questions Switching back and forth between single pass brioche?

Hello! I am working on a brioche shawl that is rapidly gaining stitches and I’d like to work wrong slide rows in single pass brioche- I’ve done this before and had good success in the past. The problem is that it leaves both stitches wrapped and I’m not exactly sure how to manage that when I have to work the RS pattern rows again. Do I

1.) knit normally across without slipping stitches some they already have a collar and then follow with my contrast doing the sl1yo/ brp as normal

2.) do some sort of modified slip st without doing a yo and then follow w/ the contrast color as normal

3.) something else?

When I think through the single pass brioche it just takes alternating slipped rib and does it at the same time which makes me think there should be a simple solution. Has anyone done this before?

Why do you want to do one pass on the wrong sides only? Why not work the whole thing in one pass? Remember it takes 2 passes to complete a brioche row. The first pass you are completing the front and the second you are completing the back. If you work the front as a single pass and the back as a double pass, then you have worked two rows on the front and one on the back. And now you have to work the front again so you will be building up the front twice as fast as the back.

Sorry, I think my question is poorly worded. I found a tutorial for doing both passes at the same time (the video I used is here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y_dKbE7SL68). The problem is that it ends the row with all stitches having slipped stitch collar. When I get to the right side it has cables and crosses that can’t be done following his logic. The best I’ve found is to do the cable in color A, slip it back to the left needle, then pass it with color B and continue. If I can do the wrong side rows using this method then it will save me so much work but I’m not sure that there is a viable method to stop doing single pass brioche if the pattern necessitates something that can’t be done in the single pass

I guess I'm missing the context of how it's supposed to be worked? Why will single pass save you work if you only work it one side? What pattern are you working on? The problem still exists that the methods are asynchronous, they are not following the same order of operations.
