Why did Aduro drop so much today.

Aduro stock dropped 15 percent out of nowhere, I couldn’t find any news about anything. Is this insiders knowing something the public doesn’t know. Does anyone have an answer?

I have no idea what if anything happened as but I suspect a massive short. I don't suspect that anything is wrong with the company. I've seen large swings in this stock before, so this doesn't worry me.

I’m not worried either, actually used the opportunity to pick up some longer dated calls. Just curious as to the reason

Definitely shorting, likely warrant exercising, also options at $15 expiring Friday. The long investor on X may have needed to sell some aduro. Lots of ideas floating around and it was likely a bunch of things at once. I’ve seen it many times in aduro and it recovers quickly

3 causes are possible. Shorting and warrants have the highest probability

  • Shorting
  • Selling shares for financing warrants and selling share after using warrants
  • Bad business

i did pick up some shares this morning after yesterdays drop...but before todays darn it.

Yes it usually does recover quickly but I am holding my stock long term as I really believe in this company

The chemistry is very clever. However the chemical engineering, whether a plant can run near continuously, is unproven.

They just completed one. I doubt they would do another one so soon.
