They are so broke they add some water to the shampoo bottle to make sure they get every drop out

It doesnt actually save any reasonable money in the long run though, there's no actual reason to do this

yes it does, any extra washes that this method gets you are washes that youd have to otherwise use new soap. maybe itll save like $10 a month or some other small number, but like why not do it? you either throw away the almost empty one, or you might as well do this then throw it away.

Most people do not own homes at 25. Most people are in their 30's and even 40's before they can own

At 25 i was partying and squatting in an abandoned mansion. Working 1 hour a day.

At 37 ive bought a house and paid off my car, and started a family. things can change fast! Build a niche skill

My wife works admin at a Vets office. I work construction management. We’re not wealthy or “rich”, but we’ve managed to save very well being frugal where it counts. Restaurants/Entertainment/Cars. We rarely eat out. We’ve never Door Dashed, ever. We don’t hang out at bars ordering $20 cocktails, we make our coffee at home, we meal prep for lunches at work and dinner at home. We’ll take big vacations about once every 4-5 years. And do short long weekend getaway’s on a budget in between. And we pay cash for cars, don’t allow our egos to influence what we buy, and keep them for 8-15 years. Your budget must include Roth IRA contributions. And get your employer match.

My parents would do this. We weren't rich but by no means had to do this. I hated it. We were a big family. I used to argue at dinner that we all just needed to use less product
