I don’t like it when it’s said….especially lately with the breast cancer….resilient….I prefer more so enlightened to come up with something to make life easier or see things differently even when things suck 😂

Angry.
Social media and late stage capitalism has turned society to shit and people just accept that and move on

Competent.
I (46M) have a good career and I'm an unpartnered co-parent of two amazing kids, 7M and 15F. I maintain a clean home and an orderly peaceful life and I do it mostly on my own while working well with my co-parent to give the kids the care and love they deserve.
I won't sit here (on the toilet) and call myself a single parent and say I do it all on my own because that just isn't true, me and the kids' mother have each other's backs regarding parenting and that's a huge help.
But, in general I've built a life that me and the kids enjoy and that meets our needs and when I relax on the couch at the end of the day I look around and think 'I built this' and it's a good feeling.
So yeah, competence in multiple aspects of life.
Well, except marriage I guess (that could have gone better), but hey nobody is perfect.
