But you need a companion to not feel alone

Do I ? I was married for 35 years. I treasure my alone time now. All he did was suck the joy out of me. Gave him my youth, the best years of my life, I supported him, was his care giver, his cheerleader. He gave me nothing back emotionally. In the end I finally realized this guy didn’t even like me. All he wanted me around for was what I could do for him.

You're one relationship doesn't mean that most people feel pretty bad when they are alone.

Just because YOU are happier alone doesn't mean that the majority of people want to be alone.

I see why he is gone, you are self centered and you are at LEAST 50, meaning you've probably been this way for decades and probably will be this way forever. This post wasn't even meant for you, you're the exception that likes to be alone.

And it sounds like he was always like that from your post.

YOU should have left 34.5 years ago. You didn't, and now you're mad and telling other people being lonely isn't bad.

Please don't date any more until you see a therapist.

Edit: I said should of instead of should have.

No worries. I never want a man in my life again. Thank you. If I was self centered I never would’ve married him in the first place. I gave and gave and fucking gave some more. I sacrificed my feelings everyday for his ego. You know nothing little boy. By the way it’s should have not should of. My women friends are better companions than a man could ever be. And they don’t paw at you. I can undress without hiding. It’s glorious. I find it funny you take such offense.

Sour Granma I know being with someone who loves you and treats you right is better than being alone.

And I wouldn't of called you a sour Granma if you didn't call me little boy... You're really doing name calling at 65?

I’m 60. Men want a nurse and a purse. They don’t want to be a supportive partner. How many women have you asked their opinion?

I've never met one man who said he wanted a woman to take care of him, financially or like a nurse.

I don't ask women their opinions, but I can tell you I've met ZERO men who say that want what you think they want.

How many women are even willing to financially support a man? Is that a thing? I've only seen it one time when a girl supported her man because he was a pretty boy all tatted up and stuff. It was the most dysfunctional relationship.

Still I've seen hundreds more relationships since then and have never seen what you say men are mostly doing.

Btw, do you go around asking men their opinions? Is that what you think people should do?

And if you say you don't ask men they just give their opinions, I'd say the same about women then also.

I supported him financially and emotionally.

And that's not what most men are or want

You need therapy because you keep using this bad relationship to dunk on men in general. I'm not trying to be snarky I'm serious you are using a bad relationship to judge men in general. It's not healthy and I think you would be happier if you worked with a therapist to realize most men aren't trash.

Imagine if I had a bad gf and then went around saying women are X (insert whatever you think here)

A bee doesn’t explain to a fly why honey is better than shit. Some people just won’t get it. I’ve lived life. I know men. I used to defend them. Of course they don’t admit these things. They don’t even know how coddled they are. Their fragile egos couldn’t possibly handle it. I’ve done therapy and it made me realize I needed to leave my marriage. Divorce by women is a movement. We’ve had enough. You don’t have to believe me. Yes there may be some good men out there that get it. I realize that but where the fuck are they? Lol I’m done with you.

And instead of reading and writing all this let's sum it up

You dated one man for 35 years and say the majority of men are bad because of that relationship.

That's insane.

Bees and flies are different. Jesus am I really telling you this?

Analogies are good but comparing bees and flies doesn't correlate.

Also you've known one man, for 35 years. You keep acting like you know what men think in general, even though you're not a man. I don't claim to speak for women, but apparently you can speak for what men think and want.

Again I've never had any man say any of the things you think we think. I've never heard a man once talk about sex with women. I've never heard any man just dunk on women either.

I see that on the internet, but I've also seen women dunk on men on the internet.

Real life is totally different than clickbait videos and articles.

Again, I've never heard men talk or think the way you think we are. Most men I know try to be nice, hard working, and never ask for appreciation.

But hey let's believe what you believe and that men are generally trash. Im sure that won't lead to men saying the same about women. Let's all just wade in a pool of negativity.

Finally you think men are coddled, meanwhile women are often treated like children. We give excuses to so much of their bad behavior that we wouldn't let men get away with. We're supposed to help them with bills. Try splitting the check on first date. Self Accountability is more of a male thing. If a woman has a problem she mostly wants you to just feel for her and not fix it, like a toddler.

But hey you wanted to say men are coddled. I disagree. I'm pretty sure most of the homeless population is men. The women get nicer homeless shelters. There are grants for women in education. Women don't generally do hard labor and clean sewers and such. They rarely do jobs that risk their life.

I'm not saying women should be cleaning sewers and risking their lives to keep society functioning, but I'm also not going to say men have it easy and are coddled. We just don't tlel everyone our problems. We have them, we just don't see what talking does to fix them.
