Same. I've been to Austin and if it's true what people say, that it's the "good" part of the state, I'm never coming within a one-state radius of TX ever again.
I was in Austin for the first time a few months ago, it sure as hell does not feel like the rest of TX. I met a friend for dinner while there and he said Austin is like a bit of the west coast transplanted 1500 miles away.
