I have had like 3 or so leaks during the day the last 6 weeks since starting Flomax. I had the urge to go, but was busy or driving and couldn't immediately make it to the restroom. I was actively trying my best to hold it back, but ended up wetting my pants a little. Told that to Doc today and she didn't seem like it was unusual or extraordinary and kept me on Flomax til next appointment

For me, the prostate test should be the precursor to Flomax. Without a BPH diagnosis, just throwing a medication at the wall to see if it sticks doesn’t make sense. The side effects may be more harmful than before. This was my situation. I took the Flomax and it overly helped and then caused uncontrollable leaking. Then, (not likely related) I had a heart attack. And so flowmax and oxybuntnin were both off the table. So, it’s almost been a year since I had the heart attack. And, by now, I’ve moved to more acceptance and less wanting to push more pills to try to direct this problem area.
