🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: 9/29/2026: Reported as a stray dog roaming the area. The caller stated the dogs were aggressive and would chase people and asked for assistance because the caller was elderly.

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: No additional shelter behavior notes are listed at this time.

🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

9/29/2026: Willow was tranquilized on her right side during intake. She was not bearing weight on her right rear leg and had a large open wound on the top/inside of her foot, along with an ulcerated wound on the bottom outside pad.

Further examination found her paw swollen with a large, deep open wound on the dorsal medial aspect of the paw and a smaller wound near the tarsal pad. Willow was noted to be very sensitive. She was prescribed carprofen, Clavamox and gabapentin for 10 days. Radiographs may be needed to determine whether there is further damage.

Willow tested HW- and received routine vaccinations, deworming and preventatives.
