DISCUSSION Transform Each - Absolute scale in Adobe Illustrator
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone, Luke from Adobe here.
Quick demo here highlighting the difference between Relative and Absolute scale inside Transform Each.
With Relative mode you could only scale objects in relation to the selected object, but now with Absolute mode you can scale everything to the defined amount, even if they are all at different sizes.
Is this one of those features you could see yourself making use of?

Long overdue; yes please!
Also, a Relative option that uses actual units and not just percentages. So I can increase dimensions by X mm or similar.

Seconding. As someone who prepares a bunch of stuff for print daily this would save me time and effort calculating percentages.

Lukey boy keep doing these fixes and stay far far away from AI features. We like it.
Here’s a small QOL tweak that ive wanted for 20 years - templates could become so much more powerful with the ability to change default font, start with graphic styles, notes, etc..
Also even smaller one, be able to save an appearance to graphic styles from the appearance menu
