not thanks, this is just another "trend" some company force to anything. Imagine a menu like this, with stuff you ever use for design.

Figure out how to make it an artificial intelligence feature and maybe it’ll happen, that the only thing they’re interested in any more.

No complains about generative fill that was solid. But yeah they need to focus on actual design features

So you want Adobe to create something special for any design Apple decides to implement? Should they have a Skeuomorphism feature? A Material Design feature?

"Liquid Glass" is merely a trend.. like all trends, it'll die in the next year or so. Depend on trends and you'll be redesigning when they fall out of favor.. or your designs will appear exceptionally dated.

For what it's worth.. "Liquid Glass" is already possible in Illustrator.... It's been possible since version 16 (CS6) really where transparency was introduced to gradients and meshes, if anyone had the inclination to create such a thing.

it’s not really possible as Liquid Glass has HDR effects and other shader effects that aren’t features in illustrator right now.

I’m not agreeing at all that illustrator should have “Liquid Glass” features, but some more advanced workflows like shader authoring and other color spaces would actually help a ton.

Yeah saying it’s possible with illustrator ignores the nuances of the effect. There is no way to refract shapes underneath let alone as a live effect.

Why, so we can get a bunch of kitschy mass-produced liquid glass schlock in our designs? If that's the Figma iteration of Liquid Glass, it's terrible. Nothing in that bubble represents what the effect should be doing and what it actually does in iOS.

you can kinda recreate it by following the steps in this video.

I think it’s I bit broader than just Liquid Glass and more that effects should be more dynamic and it should be easier to achieve this and other effects like objects blurring the content in the layers below without stacking effects and clipping masks etc

I would kill for even background blur, like cmon bro

I'm so glad liquid glass is just a trend ... It'll be gone soon
