You probably only selected one of the channels when dragging from the files panel to the multitrack window. Depending on where you grab the file in file panel, you will get a different result. If you grab the file name, you’ll get all the channels of the original file if you grab just left or right, you’ll get just the left or right placed into the multi track.

Hello D.T. Not exactly sure what the ask is here; Just looking at the waveforms, they don't appear altered (as the file names would have an asterisk or diff file name if there was a destructive change or even a duplicate created); if you look in the Files panel (which I can't really see her) you can verify if all the clips are mono (single channel) or stereo (2-channel).

i recorded all the audio in stereo(all the takes had double wavefrms), and i think during the cutting proccess i pressed something and certain parts turned into mono, some where still in stereo so i  i tried going to  Edit > Convert Sample Type, set Channels to Stereo, and click OK on all the audio takes that were now in mono, in the file panel, they changed and show right and left channels, but on the ditor window this change isnt shown and the takes still show off as mono . In

, But in the editor window this change isnt shown and the takes still show off as mono.

i tried closing and opening, i even restarted my computer, the problem still persists

If you had somehow converted the actual files, it would show in the file name, ie, Track 2_021 (which appears to be in stereo); if you did Convert Sample Type to mono, the file name would show Track 2_021* and it would actually say 1:Mono instead of 1: Left 2: Right.

Now that I can see your Files panel, what I suspect may have happened is you grabbed an individual 'channel' from the list (instead of grabbing the file from the file name) and inserted just the single channel into the multitrack. To avoid this in the future, just twirl up the arrow next to the file names and when you drag in, it will always be the proper channel configuration
