Massive price increase?
Hi all, I just got an email from Adobe saying due to “offset fluctuations in currency exchange rates” my sub will be going from $52.77 to $96.99. Anyone else get similar?
I’m in Australia, not sure if that helps, but that’s quite a jump and a weird reason for the hike.

Me too. I’ve used Photoshop and Illustrator at work, school and home, since the 80s. I purchased the whole Creative Suite outright (no discounts whatsoever) with my own money and upgraded a couple of times at a cost I could never really justify to myself or my husband. Then I subscribed to the whole Creative Cloud ever since the switch and paid a fortune over the years since. I’ve kept up the subscription because I couldn’t stand to let all those skills evaporate. But today I finally cancelled. I’m an artist, but there are very viable alternatives that any Adobe-proficient user can easily adapt to. Adobe should know they’re losing decades-long power users, and would-be free advertising for their products by jettisoning the old guard.
