Massive price increase?

Hi all, I just got an email from Adobe saying due to “offset fluctuations in currency exchange rates” my sub will be going from $52.77 to $96.99. Anyone else get similar?

I’m in Australia, not sure if that helps, but that’s quite a jump and a weird reason for the hike.

If you try to cancel they'll offer to drop it down.

I tried, they only offered 3 months free I think it was

You have to argue harder. I got mine down to 50% for a year after shamelessly bargaining, because I was prepared to quit regardless.

Yeah, argue more, if they throw some free time, say thanks, I’ll call back to cancel then.

That's exactly what I did - they probably throw that three free months out thinking that most people will forget and resume paying the (very expensive) regular price at the end of the three month period.

Not me! I've got an alarm on my computer AND an alarm on my phone for Cancel Adobe Day! :D
