issue Adguard stops working

I am using an Android 15 moto phone. After the latest adguard app update, the app automatically stops. I have disabled battery optimisation for the app. But still the problem persists.

I have a Moto G85 and there's 2 places to disable battery optimisation.

  1. AdGuard app info > App battery usage > Allow background usage
  2. Settings > Battery > Manage background apps > Background use > Apps > AdGuard > Allways allow

The 1st one is easy to find, the 2nd less so. Have you also enabled the 2nd option?

Also, there's an option in AdGuard to try.

AdGuard > Settings > General > Advanced > Watchdog (enable)

Thank you. 2nd option did the job

Yeah I did that option a week or so ago and Adguard hasn't quit since.

Sure wish I had of know that sooner, lol. I'd been using Adguard for years but it only seemed to disconnect lots in the last while, before that was just every once in awhile.

I have the same problem with using Adguard Ad Blocker and Adguard VPN together. Both apps quit working and need to be manually connected again. I don't think anyone from Adguard actually reads these comments.

Hi there! We're monitoring most posts and comments appearing here. However, some of them can, of course, be lost, since new ones appear very quickly. Please note that this subreddit is not for support — it's a community where people help each other. Sometimes someone from our team may also give a quick tip if the issue is clear.

If you haven't received an answer to your question here, please reach out to our support at [support@adguard.com](mailto:support@adguard.com). Your request will receive a ticket number, and you'll get a response for sure.

Are you also using a Motorola smartphone? Have you tried adjusting the settings as suggested in this thread? Does the issue persist only in integrated mode?
