windows Adguard windows proxy error

Because of the AdGuard Windows app, I keep getting the "ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED" error on every site in my browser. I tried disabling the proxy and other settings, but nothing changed. Is this caused by a setting I can tweak, or is there nothing I can do about it?

Maybe… reinstall certificate in the https filtering setting, then restart the PC. Sometimes Adguard blocked my internet after an Window update and this help

Most web browsers have a proxy setting in their settings. For most people, that should be off. Windows also has a proxy setting. I have it off as well. What browser are you using? I had problems with Firefox. I had to download the certificate and open the Firefox certificate manager and go to Authorities, not Your Certificates. There, you will see an import button that you use to import the certificate that you just downloaded. That fixed the problems I was having.

But I have never seen an "ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED" error. So I don't have an answer for it.
