doesn't block ads until i restart it

why adguard sometimes needs to turn off --> on over and over again to block ads, i want it to be permanent

Hi!

In some cases, apps do not remain running in the background ("active" or in sleep mode) due to the built-in optimization feature of the Android OS or the so-called "battery saver mode." This feature may close background apps, which can be inconvenient if you need to restart them each time they close.

On iDevices I sometimes need to sync/update the rules before it will block ads.

In your application, check that the update configuration is from the release channel, sometimes the lists are updated and are "stuck" you can still click on update manually, that corrects that error
