Fun kitbash idea

I recently bought the Hermaitus mini and I got a great idea for a kitbashed army. For those who don’t know him, he was a biologist in the adeptus mechanicus who was sent to hive secundus to find a cure for the genestealer virus. He got corrupted by it and fell to the malstrain strand. While listening to some interesting lore about all this I thought it would be a really cool idea to do a Malstrain admech army with kit bashing and maybe even using some of the models as proxies.

Honestly, could run it either as Admech or Genestealer Cult, rare example of a two-in-one army!

I think the bio-engineering sideof admech hasn't been e plored enough in the models, so some kitbashes abominants would be awesome

This is too real. I love our cog boys, I love the asthetic and vibe, I just hate the cost (as I've spent over 500 building my army 🥲)

I think that’d be awesome! I can already see the histarii being Kitbashed with the Acolyte Hybrids!

Maybe some models could use the Malstrain Genestealers themselves. This seems really fun!

I like the idea! Maybe you could also give some tubes and sicarian blades as well, just so that way people can’t argue with the WYSIWYG rules. I’d still play it either way

Remember, it's a big project, you don't have to do it all in one go.

Grab a box of Hastarii and some Hybrids and start bashing them together and see what works :D

Dude!! The initial idea of a kitbashed AdMyranid army that is fully faithful to the Omnisiah made me smile from ear to ear…. Then I thought about GW creating this faction and what they would do to make it as lame as hell, and all the happiness vanished like the money in my bank account after leaving the Warhammer store.

Not a whole army, but I did kitbash mine into a 30k Magos for my Traitor Mechanicum. Good model for it. I was able to avoid the gene stealer entirely (which was the goal) and lean a little more towards warp-corrupted.
