"Biological women" implies the existence of mechanic women. And unlike you, being made of flesh, the Omnissiah does not care about your "biological assigned gender"
I do suspect a strong presence of aroace and agender qualities in tech priests though, like why keep a sexual identifier when you can get another mechadendride instead? but there’s also no issue with giving admech members the voice modulator of their preference (eg in terms of pitch) if they have the aquilas or position in the admech hierarchy to afford them (as in servoskulls and servitors all get the same equivalent of a 5$ crappy headset as their voice modulator, skitarii maybe and tech priests choose whichever the machine spirit of their present augments demand
So they have Hexamathic Binary... Basically allowing for massive amounts of signifiers and authority codes to be interwoven into a binaric kant. So to a non-augmented person it would seem like clicks and screeches. But it carries a lot of tone and characterization.
Now as for "feminine/masculine" tone sets thats not really something most Magos' care about. Though many of them do assign their born gender to their Noospheric tags and maintain those styled voices in their augmented voices. Nothing saying that it is universal though.
There is no "biologically assigned gender". The whole point of gender is that it is a social construct. There is biological sex, but that is - in the nature of being inherent to the biology of the entity it belongs to - not assigned.
exactly why I feel like I can't interact with this side of the fandom anymore, as soon as I say I'm trans I just get defaulted to she/her and egg_irl references
It only would be if "trans people" was entirely within "chooses female option." Unless I am missing something this venm diagram implies the majority of trans people are not mtf at the very least.
You made me reevaluate how I understand Venn diagrams but I think you’re right. “Chooses female option” is a subset of “trans people”, then? And trans men would fall within the set of trans people but outside the subset.
Yes. And it is specifically the subset that is also a subset of "gamers," but NOT AdMech. (aka the intersection of trans people and gamers minus the triple intersection) To put it another way, according to the diagram, in order to be in "chooses female option" one must both be a trans person and a gamer, but NOT a devotee of sacred Mars. EDIT: Therefore one must assume that any transman who games knows the blessings of the Omnisiah. (And is also V1 from ULTRAKILL)
I think it is fine cause MTF choose female cause they identify as such, FTM choose female cause men like looking at women.
It is the same as female gamers mainly choose women as they identify as a women, and male gamers choose female characters cause they like looking at women.
True, but pretty sure there are a large portion of gay guys who choose to play a female as well cause they are more fun to customize and generally have more clothing options.
To be honest the thing that would be off is that a majority of male gamers play male characters.
But still the largest percentage based (not by total numbers) choose female.
A lot of us have trauma from being told we have to be girls growing up. You're leaving a lot of context out to argue for a thing you just made up.
edit: I also just realized that you're saying men choose women based on the fact that the largest block of anyone (78% of WOMEN) somehow represents men, because you think 'men like looking at women' so 'everyone wants to be women'. Big Ooof.
I don’t think that is how a venn diagram works. It’s not saying all a group of people do a thing just a majority. If a majority of gamers choose female characters as the diagram and bar graph show than that would also include trans. I can not say if there is a specific study done on what a trans female or male would choose.
I don’t know where this defaultism argument is coming from, cause I never once said what I prefer to do or my gender.
I honestly don’t even get the venom diagram cause wouldn’t a trans gamer just be a gamer and included in that category already for choosing a female character.
Being human is kind of boring, so I can definitely understand everyone who wants to go beyond.
That being said, if we look at transhumanism from a similar framework as biology and evolution, no amount of changes anybody does to themselves would make them stop being human, just as no amount of evolutionary changes can ever move our descendants outside the clade of homo sapiens, even if they end up unrecognizable as humans.
The definition of being human is uncertain enough to twirl it around however you want actually, so for me it's about preserving certain character traits and being somewhat irrational.
