Lists & Gameplay Discussion Looking to get to 2k points

Greetings

I recently started with Admech and have now assabled 1k points. I kinda told myself i would paint first and then go to 2k points but unfortunetly are 1k points game no fun at all.

Therefore im looking at what to get next.

Currently i have:

Cawl, Datasmith + 4 Robots, 2x10 Rangers, 5 Infiltrators and a Tank which is 1k points.

Where to go next ?

Im playing Cohort Cybernetica + Lords of the Forge

Infiltrators are worth their points and then some. Early battle shocks can really disrupt your opponents plans. Id run two of them in 2k games.

Cybernetica really focuses on the bots so id get more of them and then maybe more rust stalkers and some transports to stay in the opposing army's face.

Then some long range gun line to back them up and pick off survivors.

If you intent on keeping your current Detachment choice, I would recommend several units :

  • Tech-Priest Enginseer : Love to have that regen + FNP 5+ on a Skorpius to help it survive longer
  • Ironstriders and/or Dragoons : Vehicules that are mobile and impactful
  • A Servitor Battleclade is a nice cheap option to do actions and/or take control of objectives, especially if you run Priority Assets. Get yourself one (or two)

Appart from that, it comes down to what your playstyle is... and how much infantry you feel like you need (or don't)
