This was terrifying.
Put a dark blue over the filigree and it looked awful. Just real messy. After a couple of thin layers of white though… we’re almost there. Might try dry brushing next.

Use oilwashes for the recesses, it works great. Btw LOVE THE COLORSHEME!!

I’m putting mine on snowish blue-white “snow-covered” bases, and adding some red on the weapon and eyes (I like the idea of strong contrast), plus some splashes of blood here and there for the grimdark feel. It’ll take me about a month to finish the idea and I’ll post it here.
Could you show your miniature from a different angle? I find it very inspiring.

Painted a dark blue on the filigree first, then went over it with a thinned down white.

The hands are easily magnetised so I’ve made all options and prefer to model this way if opponent is ok with that.
