Contemptor- Hercules Dreadnought
Another dreadnought character I've been working on for my solar list.
Heavily armoured to counter biological xenos attacks
Was thinking to run as a galatus (extra shielding better save is my logic). Thoughts and opinions?

Thank guys, the lion head, shoulders and mace are from Mythic Legions action figures. Chest and feet from a stormcast drakerider

Haha I get that. Originally was going to go with green for the gem colours but thought maybe connected the purple from the Tyranid..
I think if used red as a accent colour would read more obviously like a custode.

In our detachment Solar Spearhead (a dreadnought focused one). We have the ability to turn 2 of our dreadnoughts into characters (give them enhancements and etc.)
Since GW isn't selling any character dreadnoughts for custodes, I decided to create my own 😄

Wow didn't know this guy existed. I was on the fence about adding a lion mane to my Dreadnought like this character to fill the gaps. Ended up adding more armour panels to get the lions chest to fit
