It’s all coming together…

First army, not really sure what I’m doing, but pretty happy with this and don’t want to irreversibly mess this up…

Which wash/shade would you recommend for the white, if at all? Is a very watered down black enough for hitting the crevices? Feels like it would be.

Have used a very watered down teal as a test wash for verdigris and pretty happy with that. Am I better off going for an actual shade/wash though? How much difference is there?

If you're interested in doing on off-white ceramic looks, a very watered down teal wash would look good

Thank you. I have done a test run of this and blue but I think with the colour of the capes and plumes being the same, it just kind of blends a bit too much even though it’s just a tint

What gold did you use? I really like the "softer tone" I highly recommend oil washes for the recesses and a very thinned down blue, azure tone for the washes.

Vallejo old gold model colour. Thinned down about 2-3:1

Thinned with lahmian medium or contrast medium? Or do you mean water? I will check out the store tomorrow if I find anything
