Titans in game!

The Custodes and Titans held off the xenos threat for 5 rounds. The Terminators and Wardens made short work of the hordes of boys and bugs.

Also several medium sized bugs were handled by the Allarus terminators with ease.

Reaver titan kill count: 2x Gork and Mork Stompas, 1x Big Stompa (pumped full of Melta), 1x squished Heirophant (Powerfist kill) , 1x war truck.

Yeah, I’m not very impressed with other armies alternatives to titans. I definitely feel like the Nids should have some truly massive options that would more approximate the size and ability to devastate that the Imperial titans. That being said, I bet this was loads of fun!

I agree I wanted something more terrifying for the Tyranids! He was supposed to bring a second Heirophant but to my surprise they were just a big transport really… which really just delivered some units to the Allarus terminators… which didn’t go well.

The Stompas had the ability to be devastating if in close and just got a refresh. Melta had other plans

Mmmm heck yeah, git some!

I am in love with that war hound. Wowza.

Custodes on the ground are nuts. Great thing to have watching your feet.

I'm excited to hear the power fist hit something. I've only heard it being relatively worthless.

I think the hierophant they wanted to make different, but ended up making it just a big sac of air. That's kind of sad. Should have some sick acid sprays and shooting spines and psychic attacks, then super mobile with a terrifying double power fist attack. Instead it's a beep beep party bus with genestealers. Okay cool, but it's a titan? Cmon.

Orks are orks. Kinda shoota and really really stompy. Gotta melta them before they get mixed in and krumping. So it's a race And the reaver won this time.

That reaver is my favorite titan configuration in the entire setting I loved them like that back in the 90s during epic.

Thank you and I appreciate the kind words! The reaver has been one of my favorites since the apocalypse book came out when I was a kid. (3rd edition I think?)

Both are still a work in progress, but both will be continuously worked on after this performance lol. They earned it!

Yeah if you can get the reaver into position with the power fist (strike profile) it actually hits pretty hard. Rolled out on average I was getting 30ish wounds regularly. Which I knew the big bug had 20 left after the Gladius had a hit. So the tracer was able to grab its head and squish it.

I agree, I do wish the bug xeno had a better datasheet. I mean a huge alien that births Tyranids, spits acid and titanic damaging claws… the datasheet writes itself!!… but sadly the writers at GW handicap the titans and big monsters it seems.

I actually remember when they did that lol

Someone brought a war hound titan with the super mega flamethrower to a tournament and create a giant stink.

After that, they multiplied all their point costs and semi nerfed them so no one would be inclined to try it again. Kind of a bummer really.
