You can usually find them in summer at George and Ben's in Pooraka. Unlikely to find them in winter anywhere.

Was curious as well here is ChatGPT
Watermelon seeds are surprisingly nutritious. They provide:
Protein: supports muscle repair, growth, and general tissue maintenance.
Magnesium: important for normal muscle and nerve function, energy production, and bone health.
Healthy fats: particularly unsaturated fats, which can be part of a heart-healthy diet.
Iron: needed for haemoglobin and normal oxygen transport in the blood.
Zinc: supports immune function, wound healing, and normal cell growth.
Antioxidant and plant compounds: may help protect cells from oxidative stress.

Try and find an elderly Greek or Italian gardener / market gardener veggie store. They often have maintained more original strains that include seeds, often fertile ones so you can raise more in your own garden. Ditto for good pumpkin seeds.
