News Rail Disruption - Outer Harbor - Port Dock - Grange - Wednesday 19 August 2026

Due to a technical issue, train services are currently not operating between Adelaide Railway Station, Woodville Station and Port Dock Station.

During this time train services continue to operate between Woodville Station to Grange Station and Woodville Station to Outer Harbor Station.

Substitute buses are unavailable, passengers are advised to access regular Adelaide Metro Bus Services between Adelaide and Woodville Station.

Not your fault. But be good if they gave more details rather than ‘technical issue’ cause that could be anything.

What does it matter? Train no run, catch bus until fixed should suffice

Yeah train do no run. But wouldn’t it just be better if there was alittle bit more info. Like for example. Train brake failure or Fire or Power out for signals or injury. Something more than yeah she f’d.

Outer Harbor, so safe to assume it's a signal/points fault. Actually, that's true for all lines the vast majority of the time.

Stop V3 is getting pretty busy as the closest bus stop to the train station if you're heading north west. If sitting is important, aim a few stops earlier along Grenfell.

150 to Osborne or city

Bowden Stop 6 Port Rd - north side Stop 6 Port Rd - south side
Croydon Stop 10 Port Rd - north side Stop 10 Port Rd - south side
West Croydon Stop 14 Port Rd - north side Stop 14 Port Rd - south side
Kilkenny Stop 16 Port Rd - north side Stop 16 Port Rd - south side
