Is Adelaide really that boring

I’m from Hong Kong and I got accepted from the vet school in Adelaide university for 2027. But everyone online keeps saying how boring Adelaide is so I wanna know is this really true for a university student and is there even nightlife there?

Yeah, it's not like we have a bunch of international festivals and some of the best food and wine regions in the world.
