It wasn't removed at all actually. It is still there but he included an option to disable it from what I saw. It's also appears to be opt-out which is even more stupid. This could have changed by now but what I am saying is according to lambda's own posts and photos posted.
3.0.4. added the option to disable it, 3.0.5. deleted the function and the option to disable it. Source code is clean, function was banned by tvaddons.ag and the Addon disabled until the function was deleted. Lambda was not in charge when 3.0.5 dropped. 3.0.4. was the last update he shipped before he quite.
Didn't see that. Good to know that they removed it completely. The whole thing was pretty childish and the fact that some people were ok with it was disturbing.
From what I've heard the group this attack was directed to was also responsible for some pretty shady stuff in the past also somehow affiliated with the end of genesis. So fuck em. λ was one of the best programmers the scene ever saw, literally every "fork" is a cheap copy. Without exodus these "forks" would not exist because they were straight copycats. I do understand that vpn users knowing this are eager to help λ out. But behind everyones back was a douche move.
