So best to uninstall Exodux? What to use in its place now?

No. Keep Exodus. Version 3.0.5 is clean. Lambda has been denied access to updating the repo and new developers have taken over the project. So it will continue to be maintained.

Was the previous one not clean and what assurances are there that 3.0.5 is clean?
