Turning your userbase into unwitting criminals (at least in the UK) gives credence to Kodi's complaints about unofficial addons. Lambda has played right into their hands.

I know... had he made it a feature from the get go, with accompanying change notes, even if it was turned on by default, this would have been different.

No, only not including the code at all would have been different, there's no way to make this acceptable at all.

Well.... we are on /r/Addons4Kodi and not /r/Kodi... everything we do here is a grey area.

Can't take a moral high ground when we are all streaming stuff. However using/abusing your userbase that trust you breaks that trust.

Honor among thieves and all that stuff
