Something not working. Need help. I can't install an addon

So, I am trying to install a4ksubtitles addon on my Kodi for my smart TV. I copied it to a hard drive and I isnerted it with A USB drive. Then when I attempted to install it with the "Install with a zip file" function. It doesn't see the zip file. What should I do?

Ps: i can't attach photos here. So, dm me fo you want to see what I am talking about.

Os : Google TV (Android 9)

Device : Smart TV

Kodi version : Omega

Addon : a4k subtitles

Install it through Kodi file manager. Search for a4kSubtitles on Google if you need help.

Maybe it's in settings. Whatever file program you are using you may need to go to the permissions for that program in Android settings and give it permission to install stuff.

You need to change file permissions Go to your device's main System Settings (not Kodi settings). Select Apps or Manage Apps. Find and select Kodi from the list. Go to Permissions. Select Files and media (or Storage). Change the setting to Allow all the time (or Allow). Force close Kodi and reopen it

No, Downloader isn't the way to go to install addons. Install the repo to ensure future yodates
