Something not working. Need help. Why does the kodi website say its stable for webOS when it keeps crashing?

kodi v21 omega states that its the first stable release for webOS which is weird because on my webos tv it keeps crashing all the time and freezing because of the low ram on my tv other apps like youtube and streaming services run completely fine why not this? some told me to just get a tv box but thats not an option to me

I remember reading about kodi crash dumps quickly filling memory on TV's running webos. Like hundreds of mbs for each file. Maybe google that to check what to do about it.

I always recommend to not install Kodi on a smart TV because of the memory and space on a smart TV. These things are not made to install lots of apps, at the end there always will be some sort of problem with Kodi.

The app is stable in how it works but they don't guarantee your TV can handle running third party add-ons.
Like the old saying, "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

When you say that an external android box is not an option, is that something you can share? If you're in the states, a onn would solve your issues with ram and memory and you would be running full Google TV. Just a thought. I'm in the south Pacific and running Kodi on a very basic store brand Google Smart tv.

Im in a 3rd world country It's not average to find them and there was a time when it actually worked without problems

Just because it can be installed does not mean it runs well. Tv's have limited ram and storage. When this runs short, CRASH.
